تلقى صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء، اتصالاً هاتفياً، من فخامة الرئيس جوزيف بايدن رئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
وجرى خلال الاتصال بحث التصعيد العسكري الذي تشهده غزة حالياً والجهود المبذولة بشأنها.

كما أوضح ـ حفظه الله ـ أهمية العمل لاستعادة مسار السلام بما يكفل حصول الشعب الفلسطيني على حقوقه المشروعة وتحقيق السلام العادل والشامل.
من جهته أعرب فخامة الرئيس الأمريكي، عن شكره لسمو ولي العهد على ما يبذله سموه من جهود لخفض وتيرة التصعيد وعدم اتساعه في المنطقة.
