عاجل: ولي العهد يتلقى اتصالاً هاتفياً من الرئيس الأمريكي جوزيف بايدن

تلقى صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء، اتصالاً هاتفياً، من فخامة الرئيس جوزيف بايدن رئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
وجرى خلال الاتصال بحث التصعيد العسكري الذي تشهده غزة حالياً والجهود المبذولة بشأنها.
وقد أكد سمو ولي العهد على ضرورة العمل بشكل فوري لبحث سبل وقف العمليات العسكرية التي راح ضحيتها الأبرياء، ورفض استهداف المدنيين بأي شكل أو استهداف البنى التحتية والمصالح الحيوية التي تمس حياتهم اليومية أو التهجير القسري، مشدداً سموه على ضرورة التهدئة ووقف التصعيد وعدم انفلات الأوضاع بما يؤثر على أمن واستقرار المنطقة وضرورة الالتزام بالقانون الدولي الإنساني ورفع الحصار عن غزة والحفاظ على الخدمات الأساسية والسماح بإدخال المساعدات الإنسانية والطبية.

كما أوضح ـ حفظه الله ـ أهمية العمل لاستعادة مسار السلام بما يكفل حصول الشعب الفلسطيني على حقوقه المشروعة وتحقيق السلام العادل والشامل.
من جهته أعرب فخامة الرئيس الأمريكي، عن شكره لسمو ولي العهد على ما يبذله سموه من جهود لخفض وتيرة التصعيد وعدم اتساعه في المنطقة.
