أثار الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن الجدل، بعد ظهوره مؤخرا يستمتع بالمشي على الشاطئ مع زوجته جيل، وسط الأحداث التي يشهدها العالم، على رأسها ما يحدث في غزة.
وقضى بايدن نحو 367 يوما إجازات على مدار الفترة الماضية ما يساوي 40% من فترة رئاسته.
ووجه نشطاء انتقادات حادة لجو بايدن بسبب الأزمات التي تعصف بالعالم ومنها الحرب في غزة وحرب أوكرانيا وتهديدات الصين والرهائن الأمريكان وغيرها.

نجح مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، في إجراء عملية دقيقة لطفل يبلغ من العمر 11 عام، أصيب بآلام حادة في مفصل الورك، وعدم القدرة على المشي والحركة، هذا ما ذكره الدكتور عبد الرحمن الرفاعي استشاري طب وجراحة عظام الأطفال والتشوهات والحوادث وجراحات مفصل الورك المتقدمة، رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج.
والذي أضاف أن الطفل حضر للعيادة على كرسي متحرك، وتم الإستماع إلى شكواه وفحصه سريرياً، وتبين أنه يعاني منذ 3 أشهر من وجود حركة إلزامية خارجية دورانية للورك عند ثني مفصل الورك، وهو أمر غير طبيعي.

"شجيرة اللوتس البري" تعود في أودية الحدود الشماليةمشيراً إلى أنه تم إخضاع الطفل لفحوصات دقيقة بالأشعة المقطعية (C.T Scan) والعادية (Digital X-rays) وعدداً من التحاليل المخبرية، وقد كشفت نتائج الفحوصات عن إصابته بإنزلاق غضروفي "نادر" بمفصل الورك بنسبة 45%، وهو ما يعرف طبياً بأسم " Slipped capital femoral epiphysis". وعليه تم وضع خطة علاجية تقتضي التدخل الجراحي لترميم مفصل الورك وتعديل هذا الإنزلاق، مفيداً بأنه في حال التأخر بالعلاج وزيادة نسبة الإنزلاق، قد يتسبب ذلك في فقده للقدرة على المشي نهائياً وتعرض المفصل للخشونة المبكرة التي تستلزم تغييره بعمر مبكر.
موضحاً أنه عقب الإنتهاء من إتخاذ كافة التدابير اللازمة لصحة وسلامة الطفل، تم إجراء عملية الخلع الجراحي الآمن لمفصل الورك (Safe surgical hip dislocation ) وإجراء جراحة عزل الشرايين المغذية لصفيحة النمو، (Modified Dunn Procedure)، موضحاً أن العملية استغرقت 4 ساعات ونصف تحت التخدير الكامل، وتم فيها معالجة الإنزلاق الغضروفي في صفيحة النمو مع تثبيتها بالمسامير الداخلية، كما تم التأكد من وصول التروية الدموية لرأس الفخذ بعد التثبيت، ونقل بعدها الطفل إلى غرفة التنويم.
