السعودية تنشئ منطقة لوجستية بالدمام بـ 267 مليون دولار

وقَّعت الهيئة العامة للموانئ "موانئ" والشركة السعودية العالمية للموانئ "SGP"، عقداً لإنشاء منطقة لوجستية متكاملة بميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام، بقيمة استثمارية من القطاع الخاص، تناهز مليار ريال (حوالي 266.6 مليون دولار)، وبمساحة تتجاوز مليون متر مربع.
من جانبه، أكد وزير النقل السعودي رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للموانئ، صالح الجاسر أن هذه الاتفاقية تأتي ضمن حزمة من استثمارات القطاع الخاص المحلي والعالمي، لإنشاء العديد من المناطق اللوجستية عالية الأداء، لتعزيز كفاءة القطاع اللوجستي، وتطوير مستوى الخدمات المقدمة، وزيادة أعداد المناولة، وخلق المزيد من الفرص الوظيفية في قطاع الخدمات اللوجستية، وتعزيز دوره في دعم الاقتصاد السعودي.
وأوضح أن الاتفاقيات التي تم إبرامها مع القطاع الخاص خلال العامين الماضيين لبناء وتوسيع استثماراته في المناطق اللوجستية يؤكد جاذبية الموانىء السعودية، والقطاع اللوجستي السعودي، والفرص الكبيرة والواعدة في هذا القطاع الحيوي؛ مما يسهم في دعم ونمو سلاسل الإمداد الإقليمية و العالمية ودفع النمو الاقتصادي وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة، بحسب وكالة أنباء السعودية الرسمية.
كما أكد رئيس الهيئة العامة للموانئ عمر حريري، أن المنطقة اللوجستية الجديدة تأتي في إطار سعي "موانئ" للإسهام في زيادة عدد المناطق اللوجستية بالموانئ ليصبح عددها 12 منطقة ومركزاً لوجستياً حالياً، وبما يسهم في رفع ترتيب المملكة ضمن مؤشر أداء الخدمات اللوجستية من المرتبة 38 حالياً إلى المرتبة 10 عالمياً وضمان ريادتها إقليمياً.
وستقدم المنطقة خدماتٍ لوجستية رئيسية وخدمات وأنظمة بيئية متكاملة، تشمل مستودعات وساحات لتخزين ومناولة جميع أنواع البضائع الجافة والمبردة، ومنطقة إيداع وإعادة التصدير؛ لتقديم عمليات الفرز والتوزيع الإقليمي، وعمليات القيمة المضافة.
وتتولى "الشركة السعودية العالمية للموانئ" ـ وهي تحالف مشترك بين "صندوق الاستثمارات العامة السعودي"، و"شركة "PSA international" السنغافورية، و"مجموعة البلاغة" ـ تشغيل محطتي الحاويات في ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز في الدمام.
يُذكر أن "موانئ" نجحت في جذب الاستثمارات المحلية والدولية وكبرى الشركات اللوجستية عبر توقيعها عدة اتفاقيات لإنشاء 11 منطقة لوجستية في ميناء جدة الإسلامي، وميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام، وميناء الملك فهد الصناعي بينبع، بقيمة استثمارية تناهز 4.2 مليارات ريال (ما يعادل 1.12 مليار دولار)، وتسهم في توفير أكثر من 13 ألف وظيفة مباشرة وغير مباشرة في القطاع اللوجستي، بما يؤدي إلى تحقيق نهضة اقتصادية، تدعم الناتج المحلي، والتجارة البينية بين المملكة ودول العالم، إضافة إلى تعزيز الربط بين أنماط النقل المتعددة، ودعم نمو صناعة الخدمات اللوجستية.
