دبي تعلن إطلاق جسر جوي لنقل الإغاثة الطارئة إلى لبنان ومصر مع تصاعد الأزمة بالمنطقة

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)-- أعلن المكتب الإعلامي لحكومة دبي، الأحد، أن المدينة العالمية للخدمات الإنسانية في دبي، بدأت عملية لتسيير جسر جوي إغاثي لنقل إمدادات طبية عاجلة ومساعدات غذائية إلى مصر ولبنان.
وأوضح المكتب في بيان أن ذلك "يأتي استجابةً للنداء الطارئ من منظمة الصحة العالمية، وبرنامج الأغذية العالمي، ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (يونيسف)"، وتعزيزاً للجاهزية في مواجهة التحديات المتزايدة التي تفرضها الأزمة الطارئة في المنطقة.
وقال جوسيبي سابا، المدير التنفيذي للمدينة العالمية للخدمات الإنسانية في دبي: "قمنا بإطلاق الجسر الجوي الإنساني بشكل عاجل لنقل إمدادات الإغاثة المُلحة، إلى المتأثرين بتفاقم الأزمة في المنطقة، حيث تستفيد المدينة العالمية للخدمات الإنسانية من شبكتها الواسعة ومواردها لتعزيز الجهود الإنسانية ودعم الاستجابات السريعة للأزمات الإنسانية، ورفع مستوى الجاهزية للحالات الطارئة، وبالتالي إنقاذ الأرواح البريئة".
وأضاف البيان أن "الشحنةَ الإغاثية الأولى من مخزون برنامج الأغذية العالمي و(اليونيسف)، توجهت، الأحد، من دبي إلى مطار العريش المصري في شمال سيناء، وتتضمّن هذه الشحنة أكثر من 11 طناًّ من مستلزمات المياه والنظافة الشخصية، وإمدادات حيوية لحفظ كرامة المتضررين وتوفير المواد الغذائية الأساسية لهم".

كما دشنت السعودية للشحن مسار الرحلات المباشر من لييج في بلجيكا إلى مطار الملك فهد الدولي بالدمام، اعتبارًا من 3 أبريل، مما يرفع إجمالي الرحلات الأسبوعية التي تُسيّرها الشركة من لييج إلى 11 رحلة أسبوعيًا، الأمر الذي يعكس حضورا مميزا للشركة في القارة الأوروبية ويبرز دورها في نقل الشحنات التي تتطلب سرعة في التسليم.
