مجلس أمناء جائزة يوسف بن أحمد كانو يرحب بالعضو الجديد الدكتور حسن إبراهيم كمال

ترأس الوجيه خالد محمد كانو رئيس مجلس امناء جائزة يوسف بن احمد كانو إجتماع مجلس أمناء جائزة يوسف بن أحمد كانو الرابع للدورة الحادية عشرة بحضور أعضاء المجلس والأمين العام للجائزة. وخلال الإجتماع أشاد كانو بسير العمل في لجان التحكيم لمسابقات الجائزة الثلاث وبالنتائج الأولية التي توصلت إليها معرباً عن تقديره لأعضاء اللجان الذين يحرصون على التقييم الموضوعي والعلمي للأعمال المقدمة لهم.
وبحث مجلس الأمناء الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول أعماله، حيث تم مناقشة ما تم إنجازه من فعاليات ونشاطات خلال الفترة السابقة إلى جانب بحث الإطار العام لعمل الجائزة في المرحلة المقبلة وما يتضمنه من مشروعات وأفكار تسهم في تعزيز حضور الجائزة إعلامياً ومجتمعياً وتصب نحو تحقيق أهداف الجائزة الأساسية. ووافق مجلس الأمناء على تنظيم حفل تكريم الفائزين للدورة الحادية عشرة في شهر يناير 2024 وتعيين شركة مختصة لتنظيم الإحتفالات للقيام بتصميم وتجهيز قاعة الحفل لضمان ظهور حفل التكريم بأفضل صورة.
كما أشاد مجلس الأمناء بإنضمام جائزة يوسف بن أحمد كانو لمنتدى الجوائز العربية والذي يعد التجمع الأبرز والأهم للجوائز العربية ويضم جوائز ذات مكانة كبيرة وشهرة واسعة إقليمياً وعالمياً وتحمل أسماء للقادة العرب وشخصيات عربية لها إسهاماتها الكبيرة في مجتمعاتها. ورحب مجلس أمناء جائزة يوسف بن أحمد كانو بإنضمام العضو الجديد رجل الأعمال المعروف وصاحب الخبرة الطويلة في المجال التطوعي والإنساني الدكتور حسن إبراهيم كمال وأكد حرصه على الإستفادة من خبرات الدكتور كمال المتعددة لتطوير عمل الجائزة.
وتعتبر جائزة يوسف بن احمد كانو التي تأسست في العام 1998م إحدى مبادرات مجموعة شركات يوسف بن أحمد كانو في مجال المسؤولية الإجتماعية و تحرص على تشجيع التميز في العلوم والبحوث العلمية والإبداع في الثقافة والفنون ليس في الخليج فحسب بل في كافة الدول العربية.

ولقد بدأ الاجتماع بكلمات افتتاحيه تطرقت لمآثر مؤسس المؤسسة المغفور له صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن فهد بن عبدالعزيز وأعماله الجليلة والاثار التي تركتها هذه الاعمال على المستفيدين منها .. حيث أكد الأعضاء التزامهم بالسير على نهج المغفور له في دعم العمل الإنساني والخيري والتي ستظل شاهده على البذل والعطاء لخدمة الإنسانية .. وستستمر المؤسسة في العطاء بجهود أبناءه البررة .. كما أستذكر الأعضاء جهود المغفور له وبصماته مع كل مبادرة أطلقتها المؤسسة سواء على المستوى المحلي و العالمي.
ثم القى رئيس الجلسة صاحب السمو الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد كلمة أشاد بدعم خادم الحرمين الشريفين وسمو ولي عهده الأمين –حفظهما الله – للعمل الخيري والإنساني. كما استعرض سموه مآثر الفقيد وأعماله الجليلة ومواقفه مع كل من تعامل معه مشيداً بدور أبناءه البررة للسير على نفس النهج.
بعد ذلك بدأ المجلس بالنظر في جدول أعمال واتخاذ القرارات اللازمة بشأنها .. ومن أهم ما جاء فيها اختيار صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير تركي بن محمد بن فهد بن عبدالعزيز رئيس لمجلس أمناء المؤسسة.
كما أطلع المجلس على المبادرات التي ستنفذها المؤسسة خلال شهر رمضان المبارك لهذا العام وهي على النحو التالي: رحلة عمرة للفقراء والمحتاجين، إفطار صائم بمكة والمدينة من المحتاجين الصائمين، السلال الغذائية، سقيا الماء بمكة والمدينة المنورة، ووقف مصاحف في الحرم المكي والمدني.
كما ناقش الاجتماع التوجهات الاستراتيجية المستقبلية للمؤسسة والتي أستعرضها سمو رئيس المجلس في ظل المعطيات المحلية والتطورات الذي تشهدها أعمال المؤسسة إذ تسعى المؤسسة على تنويع مصادر دخلها بهدف تنمية أوقافها وزيادة الصرف على الاعمال الخيرية المباشرة مع التأكيد على مسارين في أعمال المؤسسة المسار الاستثماري والعمل الخيري .. كما تطرق سموه إلى ضرورة تفعيل دور المجلس الاستشاري النسوي والتعاون والاستفادة من التجارب والممارسات المحلية.
