ولي العهد يعلن إطلاق المخطط العام لمطار أبها الدولي /عاجل

أعلن صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود، ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء - حفظه الله -، عن إطلاق المخطط العام لمطار أبها الدولي الجديد.
وسيتم بناء مطار أبها الجديد بهوية معمارية متسقة مع تراث منطقة عسير؛ ليصبح معلماً بارزاً من المعالم المميزة بالمملكة، حيث ستصل مساحة صالته إلـى 65 ألف متر مربع مقارنة بـنحو 10 آلاف وخمسمائة متر مربع للمطار الحالي، إضافة إلى إنشاء جسـور إركاب، وإنشاء منصات جديدة وخدمات ذاتية لإنهاء وتسهيل إجراءات السفر، وبناء مواقف سيارات بطاقة استيعابية عالية، حيث من المخطط الانتهاء من المرحلة الأولى بحلول عام 2028م.

ويتميز المطار الجديد بتصميم معماري لا يتقادم عبر الزمن، في ظل تقنيات متطورة، من خلال توظيف استراتيجيات التصميم البيئية المستدامة، لإيجاد بيئةٍ داخلية قابلة للتكيف والانسجام مع الطبيعة، وتحاكي الثقافة السعودية، لتوفر تجربة سفر مميزة، بكفاءة عالية تسهم بتوفير خدمات انسيابية للزوار والمسافرين.
وسيكون المطار قادراً على استيعاب أكثر من 13 مليون مسافر سنوياً مقارنة بالقدرة الحالية التي تقدر بـ 1,5 مليون مسافر، وبزيادة عشرة أضعاف الطاقة الحالية، إضافة إلى تشغيل أكثر من 90 ألف رحلة سنوياً مقارنة بـ 30 ألف رحلة حالياً، وسيصبح عدد البوابات في المطار الجديد 20 بوابة، وسيحوي المطار 41 منصة لإنهاء إجراءات السفر، وإنشاء 7 منصات جديدة للخدمات الذاتية.

يُذكر أن مطار أبها الجديد، سيسهم في تعزيز ريادة منطقة عسير كوجهة عالمية جاذبة، تحقق مستهدفات الاستراتيجيات الوطنية المتسقة مع رؤية السعودية 2030، كاستراتيجية عسير "قمم وشيم"، والاستراتيجية الوطنية للطيران التي تهدف لزيادة عدد الوجهات إلى 250 وجهة و330 مليون مسافر، ومستهدفات الاستراتيجية الوطنية للسياحة.

تبلغ مساحة صالة المطار الذي سيصبح معلماً بارزاً من المعالم المميزة بالمملكة، 65 ألف م²، ويشمل إنشاء جسـور إركاب، ومنصات جديدة وخدمات ذاتية لإنهاء وتسهيل إجراءات السفر، وبناء مواقف سيارات بطاقة استيعابية عالية، ومن المخطط الانتهاء من المرحلة الأولى بحلول عام 2028م.
