وزير الخارجية الشيخ سالم العبدالله هنَّأ الأمير وولي العهد بحصول الكويت على عضوية مجلس حقوق الإنسان

هنَّأ وزير الخارجية الشيخ سالم العبدالله صاحب السمو الأمير الشيخ نواف الأحمد وسمو ولي العهد الشيخ مشعل الأحمد وحكومة الكويت على نجاح الجهود الكبيرة والدؤوبة في حصول الكويت على عضوية مجلس حقوق الإنسان للفترة 2024-2026.
وقال الوزير سالم العبدالله، في تصريح لـ «كونا»، ان النتيجة والرقم الكبير اللذين حققتهما الكويت «ما هما إلا دلالة على احترام الكويت لحقوق الإنسان ودورها الفاعل في هذا المجال، وهو الأمر الذي تؤمن به كل الدول الـ 183 التي أدلت بصوتها لصالح الكويت».
وتقدم وزير الخارجية الشيخ سالم العبدالله بجزيل الشكر والامتنان للدول المشاركة بالتصويت «على الأمانة التي حملونا إياها ونؤكد لهم من هذا المقام ولكل أعضاء المجتمع الدولي أن الكويت ستبقى كما عهدتموها وافية بالتزاماتها حاملة لمسؤولياتها بكل تفان وإخلاص ومستكملة دورها الفاعل من كل المنابر في كل وقت وحين».
وأكد أن الكويت كانت ومازالت وستبقى داعما قويا لعمل مجلس حقوق الإنسان وولايته بصفته الهيئة الحكومية الدولية الأساسية التابعة للأمم المتحدة المعنية في تعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان في جميع أنحاء العالم.
وأضاف «انطلاقا من هذه القناعة الراسخة والإيمان التام بأهمية وحيوية هذا المجلس، نعاود التأكيد للأشقاء والأصدقاء والحلفاء وجميع أعضاء المجتمع الدولي أن الكويت ومن خلال عضويتها في مجلس حقوق الإنسان ستضطلع بمسؤولية تمتع الجميع بحقوق الإنسان وحمايتها في كل مكان فهي حقوق متأصلة للجميع بمساواة وبدون تمييز».
وأشاد بدور منتسبي وزارة الخارجية و«جميع القائمين على هذه الحملة الكبيرة»، قائلا «هذا هو نجاحكم وبسواعدكم وتفانيكم ستبقى راية الكويت في رفعة وستبقى مكانتها شامخة فبارك الله فيكم وفي جهودكم».
