انهت بلدية محافظة بقيق استعداداتها لموسم الأمطار هذا العام 2023م، حيث تم تجهيز فرق الطوارئ الميدانية من كوادر بشرية مؤهلة ومدربة على التعامل مع أعمال الطوارئ، حيث يبلغ مجموع الفـرق 55 فرد بين مراقب ومشرف وطواقم ميدانيـة.
وقد وجه رئيس بلدية محافظة بقيق المهندس بادي بن فهيد القحطاني بتجهيز الآلات والمعدات اللازمة للتعامل مع طوارئ الأمطار، وذلك بعدد 7 سيارة صهريج مياه للشفط بحمولة 3000 جالون، و عدد 2 شيول حجم كبير، و عدد 1 كرين حمولة 8 طن، وعدد 4 شاحنات قلاب حجم 16 متر.

وأوضح المهندس القحطاني بأن جميع فرق الطوارئ الميدانية تكون على الاستعداد على مدار اليوم تحسباً لأي طارئ، وقد بدأت في وقت سابق بتنظيف أماكن تجميع مياه الأمطار والمناهل ومجاري المياه والتأكد من خلوها من الشوائب، وانسياب المياه في المجاري والمناهل المخصصة لها.
