السعودية تعلن نيتها الترشح لاستضافة بطولة كأس العالم 2034

أعلنت المملكة العربية السعودية، مساء اليوم الأربعاء 04 أكتوبر 2023، نيتها الترشح لاستضافة بطولة كأس العالم 2034.
وبحسب وكالة الأنباء السعودية "واس"، فإن هذا القرر يأتي وفق خطة شاملة يسعى من خلالها الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم نحو تسخير كافة الإمكانات والطاقات لتوفير تجربة رائعة وغير مسبوقة لإسعاد عشاق كرة القدم في هذا الحدث العالمي بعد النجاحات الكبيرة التي تحققت في استضافة المملكة للعديد من الأحداث والفعاليات الرياضية العالمية.
وأكد الأمير محمد بن سلمان رئيس مجلس الوزراء بهذه المناسبة، أن رغبة المملكة في استضافة كأس العالم 2034 تعد انعكاسًا لما وصلت إليه من نهضة شاملة على الأصعدة والمستويات كافة، الأمر الذي جعل منها مركزًا قياديًا وواجهة دولية لاستضافة أكبر وأهم الأحداث العالمية في مختلف المجالات، بما تملكه من مقومات اقتصادية وإرث حضاري وثقافي عظيم.

وأبان بأن نية الاستضافة تأتي تأكيدًا على الجهود الواضحة والكبيرة التي تقوم بها المملكة في نشر رسائل السلام والمحبة في العالم، والتي تعد الرياضة أحد أهم وأبرز أوجهها، كونها وسيلة مهمّة لالتقاء الشعوب بمختلف أعراقهم وتعدد ثقافاتهم، وهو ما دأبت المملكة على تحقيقه في مختلف المجالات، ومنها المجال الرياضي.
الجدير بالذكر أن السعودية ستستضيف خلال الفترة القادمة كأس العالم للأندية 2023 ونهائيات كأس آسيا 2027 بالإضافة لعدد من البطولات العالمية الكبرى في مختلف الألعاب.

ووجّه سمو ولي العهد -أيده الله- بأن يتم إنجاز المشروعات السكنية المُخصصة في التبرع خلال فترة لا تتجاوز 12 شهرًا، وأن يتم تنفيذها على يد شركات وطنية، كما وجه سموه الكريم برفع تقارير شهرية عن سير العمل في التمليك، وذلك حرصًا من سموه على تسليم كافة الوحدات السكنية خلال عام واحد فقط.
