كشفت بلدية شرق الدمام عن جهودها في تحسين المشهد الحضري والحد من التشوهات البصرية خلال شهر سبتمبر الماضي من هذا العام، والتي تنفذها بشكل دوري حسب الخطة.

وأوضح رئيس بلدية شرق الدمام، المهندس فايز بن علي الاسمري، أن الفرق المختصة بمعالجة التشوهات البصرية وتحسين المشهد الحضري قامت بإنجاز العديد من الأعمال في شهر سبتمبر الماضي.

وشملت هذه الأعمال زراعة أكثر من 6200 شجرة وشجيرة، وزراعة أكثر من 138 ألف زهرة موسمية موزعة في شوارع المنطقة، بالإضافة لإصلاح أكثر من 6000 متر مربع من المشايات و360 متر طولي من الأسوار من داخل الحدائق والمتنزهات العامة.

كما شملت أيضًا جمع وإزالة 7200 متر مكعب من مخلفات البناء والهدم، وإصلاح 21 واجهة مبنى ومحل، إضافة إلى معالجة وضع 67 حاوية نظافة داخل الأحياء السكنية. وتم أيضًا التعامل مع 64 حاجزًا خرسانيًا وتحويلة، 58 لوح إعلاني مخالف.

وأكد المهندس فايز الاسمري أن البلدية مستمرة في تعزيز برامجها لحد من التشوه البصري، وتكثيف أعمال الرصد والمعالجة، وتسريع وتيرة العمل، بهدف تحقيق تطلعات أمانة المنطقة الشرقية في تطوير المنطقة ورفع جودة الحياة فيها.

كما دعا المواطنين والمقيمين إلى التعاون مع البلدية والإبلاغ عن الملاحظات، عبر تطبيقات البلدية والأمانة أو عبر مركز البلاغات 940.
