مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر ينهي معاناة "سبعينية" مع ورم دماغي متزايد

أنهى مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، معاناة إمرأة "سبعينية" مع ورم سحائي ناشئ ومتزايد في البطين الأيسر، وضاغط على الخلايا السليمة المحيطة به مسبباً أعراضاً حادة أثرت سلباً على حياة المريضة، ذكر ذلك د.وسام العيساوي استشاري جراحات أورام الدماغ وقاع الجمجمة، رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج.
الذي قال أن المريضة راجعت المستشفى وهي تشتكي من صداع مستمر ومتزايد، وأجريت لها الفحوصات الطبية الدقيقة أبرزها تحاليل الدم، وصور الأشعة المقطعية والرنين المغناطيسي، وأظهرت النتائج وجود كتلة في البطين الأيسر، ومع المتابعة تبين أن الورم الدماغي آخذ في النمو، مشكلاً مزيداً من الضغط على خلايا المخ السليمة المحيطة به، مما زاد من حدة الصداع الذي عانت منه المريضة.

وأوضح د. وسام أن الفريق الطبي أخضع الحالة للدراسة على ضوء المعطيات التي قدمتها نتائج التشخيص، وانتهى إلى ضرورة إزالة الورم بشكل عاجل، وبعد اتخاذ الترتيبات اللازمة، وتحضير المريضة، أجريت لها عملية جراحية دقيقة باستخدام تقنية الملاحة الجراحية، وتم فيها استئصال الورم بشكل كامل، مع المحافظة على أجزاء الدماغ المحيطة به، وتوجت جهود الفريق الطبي ولله الحمد، بالنجاح التام، ونقلت المريضة بعد العملية التي استمرت لـ"6" ساعات ، مباشرة إلى العناية المركزة وغادرت المستشفى بعد أيام من العملية بحالة صحية جيدة، وقد تخلصت من الأعراض التي جاءت بها إلى المستشفى.
الجدير بالذكر أن مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، يعد من أحدث المستشفيات على مستوى الشرق الأوسط، وحقق الكثير من النجاحات الطبية، التي أهلته لحصد عدد كبير من الجوائز والاعتمادات، كاعتماد HIMSS EMRAM Stage-7، ومنظمة الصحة العالمية، وتقييم المستشفيات الصديقة لسلامة المرضى، والكلية الأمريكية للأشعةACR ، واعتماد AABB، بالإضافة إلى المركز السعودي لاعتماد المنشآت الصحية، واعتماد GHA للسياحة العلاجية، كما تم الاعتراف به كأول مشروع صحي رقمي متكامل تماماً في المنطقة.
