أوضّحت صحة مكة المكرمة مضاعفات عدم التحكم في الربو لدى الأطفال، والذي يعد من أكثر الأمراض شيوعاً لدى الأطفال.
مضاعفات عدم التحكم في الربو
وقالت صحة مكة المكرمة في إنفوجراف توضيحي نشرته عبر حسابها الرسمي أن 1 من بين كل 6 أطفال في السعودية يوجد طفل مصاب بالربو، 455 ألف وفاة حول العالم بسبب مضاعفات الربو، كما بيّنت أن مضاعفات عدم التحكم في الربو للأطفال تتمثل في:
- نوبات ربو حادة تؤدي إلى الوفاة.
- الشعور بالإرهاق والتوتر.
- التهابات الرئة.
- تأخر النمو أو البلوغ.
- اضطرابات النوم.
- التأخر الدراسي.
مهيجات الربو
- وبر الحيوانات الأليفة.
- التهوية السيئة في الأماكن المغلقة.
- المخدات المصنوعة من المواد المهيجة.
- التعرض المفاجئ للهواء البارد.
- الأمطار والعواصف الرملية وملوثات الهواء.
- الالتهابات التنفسية الفيروسية (الزكام والإنفلونزا).
إرشادات عامة للتحكم في الربو
- زيارة طبيبك بانتظام لمتابعة حالتك الصحية ودرجة التحكم في الربو.
- استخدام الأدوية استخداماً صحيحاً وبانتظام وفق الخطة العلاجية التي وضعها لك الطبيب.
- الابتعاد عن المهيجات والحرص على الوقاية من التعرض لها.
- التأكد من إتقان استخدام البخاخات أو القمع بطريقة صحيحة.
- تجنب الأطعمة والأدوية التي تثير الحساسية.
- الحرص على حمل بخاخ الربو الإسعافي طوال الوقت.
- الحصول على لقاح الإنفلونزا كل عام لتجنب الإصابة بها وإثارة الربو.
- الابتعاد عن الانفعالات النفسية الشديدة.
أعراض نوبات الربو
- كحة.
- صفير أو أزيز اثناء التنفس.
- صعوبة أو ضيق في التنفس أو ألم في الصدر.
- اضطراب النوم بسبب ضيق التنفس.

والتي قالت عند حضور المراجعة للعيادة تم الإستماع إلى شكواها والإطلاع على ملفها الطبي، وقد إتضح أنها تعاني منذ خمسة أشهر من نزيف شديد ما بعد الطمث وآلام حادة، وضُعف شديد في عضلة القلب، على الفور تم إخضاعها لفحوصات بأشعة الرنين المغناطيسي (M.R.I) والتصوير الطبقي (C.T Scan) وكذلك الأشعة الصوتية، وعدداً من التحاليل المخبرية، وقد كشفت النتائج عن وجود "ورم سرطاني" كبير ونشط بطول (15×10× 12) سم، منتشر في بطانة الرحم، كما تبين أيضاً أنها تعاني من مشاكل صحية متعلقة بنسب ضخ الدم في عضلة القلب، والتي لا تزيد عن 20 %.
