مستشفى العيون بجدة ينقذ عين مريض بعد إصابته في حادث مروري

تمكن فريق طبي في مستشفى العيون بجدة من إنقاذ عين مريض بعد إصابته في حادث مروري أدى إلى تهتك أنسجة العين والقرنية وخروج العدسة.
وأوضحت صحة جدة، أن المريض حضر لطوارئ لمستشفى، وعلى الفور قام الطاقم الطبي بإجراء الإسعافات الأولية و إجراء المزيد من الفحوصات الطبية اللازمة والتي بيّنت وجود تهتك في العين وحدوث تلف دائم في القرنية وفقدان للعدسة، ما دعا الفريق الطبي للتدخل جراحياً وبشكل عاجل حيث تم استبدال القرنية بأخرى صافية و تمت زراعة عدسة وتثبيتها داخل العين بأحدث التقنيات، إضافة إلى إزالة الجسم الزجاجي المتهتك وإجراء عملية ترميمية للأنسجة الداخلية لمقدمة العين، وتُعد هذه العملية من العمليات النادرة و الأكثر تعقيداً.
يُذكر أن مستشفى العيون قدم خدماته الطبية في العيادات الخارجية لأكثر من 42421 مستفيداً خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الماضية، كما أجرى أكثر من 7747 فحصاً لقسم الفحوصات البصرية و التخصصات التابعة لها.
