ولي العهد الأردني يؤكد على عمق واستراتيجية العلاقات مع الولايات المتحدة

عقد الأمير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني ولي العهد الأردني في واشنطن، اليوم، لقاءات منفصلة مع رئيس مجلس النواب الأمريكي وأعضاء لجان بالكونجرس.
وأكد ولي العهد الأردني، خلال لقائه رئيس مجلس النواب الأمريكي كيفين مكارثي عمق علاقات الصداقة التاريخية التي تجمع الأردن والولايات المتحدة، والحرص على توطيدها.
كما تم التأكيد على أهمية توسيع التعاون الثنائي في مختلف المجالات، وإدامة التنسيق إزاء القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وخلال لقائه رئيسة مجلس النواب الأمريكي السابقة نانسي بيلوسي، ورئيسة الكتلة الديمقراطية في لجنة المخصصات في المجلس روزا ديلاورو، شدد ولي العهد الأردني على أهمية الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين البلدين والحرص على تعزيز فرص التعاون، معربا عن اعتزازه بمستوى العلاقات المتينة الأردنية الأمريكية.
وعبر ولي العهد الأردني -خلال لقائه رئيس الكتلة الجمهورية في اللجنة الفرعية للأمن السيبراني التابعة للجنة الخدمات العسكرية في مجلس الشيوخ السيناتور مايك راوندز- عن تقديره لجهود لجان الكونجرس المستمرة في دعم الأردن بخاصة في مجالات التعاون الاقتصادي والدفاعي والأمن السيبراني.
وأوضح الأمير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني، طبقا لبيان الديوان الملكي، أن الأردن مستمر في الاستثمار في تكنولوجيا الاتصالات، باعتبارها محركًا رئيسيًا لمستقبل المملكة الرقمي.
وأشار ولي العهد الأردني -لدى لقائه كبار موظفي اللجنة الفرعية لمخصصات وزارة الخارجية والعمليات الخارجية والبرامج ذات الصلة في مجلس الشيوخ، أليكس كارنز وبول جروف- إلى أهمية اللقاءات التي تعقد في العاصمة الأمريكية التي وصفها بأنها "مثمرة" و"فرصة ثمينة" للتواصل مع أصدقاء الأردن في الكونجرس.
كما التقى ولي العهد الأردني، بحضور الأميرة رجوة الحسين، أعضاء جددًا في الكونجرس الأمريكي في لجان الشؤون الخارجية والمخصصات والخدمات العسكرية والأمن الداخلي وشؤون المحاربين القدامى والموارد الطبيعية والزراعة.
وأعرب عن سعادته بلقاء قيادات واعدة في الكونجرس الأمريكي، مجددًا تأكيده على عمق العلاقات الاستراتيجية والتاريخية التي تجمع البلدين.
وحضر اللقاءات السفيرة الأردنية في واشنطن دينا قعوار، ومدير مكتب ولي العهد، الدكتور زيد البقاعين.
