نائب وزير الخارجية: المملكة لم تتردد في تسخير إمكاناتها في خدمة القضايا الإنسانية / عاجل

نيابةً عن صاحب السمو الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله وزير الخارجية، شارك نائب وزير الخارجية المهندس وليد بن عبدالكريم الخريجي، اليوم، في اجتماع الدورة العادية (160) لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية على المستوى الوزاري، بمقر الأمانة العامة للجامعة العربية بالقاهرة.

وأكد نائب وزير الخارجية، في كلمته بالاجتماع أن العالم يواجه العديد من التحديات والصعوبات في مجالات عدة، مما يتطلب الوقوف صفاً واحداً، ومضاعفة الجهود ورفع مستوى التنسيق والتشاور بين الدول العربية، وتعزيز العمل العربي المشترك لتحقيق تطلعات قادة الدول العربية وشعوبنا في مجالات التنمية والازدهار، لتصبح منطقتنا آمنة مستقرة يسودها السلام والتعاون.

وأشار إلى أن المملكة لم تتردد يوماً في تسخير جميع إمكاناتها في سبيل خدمة القضايا الإنسانية، حيث تجاوزت المساعدات التي قدمتها المملكة على مدى (70) عاماً (95) مليار دولار، استفادت منها (160) دولة حول العالم، مما يجعلها في مقدمة الدول المانحة للمساعدات الإنسانية والإنمائية.

وجدد تأكيد المملكة على أهمية السلام في الشرق الأوسط، كونه الخيار الاستراتيجي للدول العربية، وأهمية تشجيع الإسراع في التفاوض للتوصل إلى حل عادل وشامل يلبي تطلعات الشعب الفلسطيني وفق قرارات الشريعة الدولية ومبادرة السلام العربية، معرباً عن إدانة المملكة للاعتداءات والإجراءات الأحادية والاستفزازات المتكررة من قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، التي تقوض عملية السلام.

وأعرب عن موقف المملكة بشأن عودة سوريا إلى محيطها العربي، مؤكداً أن ذلك سيسهم إيجاباً في جهود حل الأزمة فيها، ويعيد الاستقرار لسوريا والمنطقة، مجدداً دعم المملكة للجهود المبذولة كافة للتواصل إلى حل سياسي للأزمة السورية بما يحافظ على وحدة سوريا وأمنها واستقرارها وهويتها العربية وسلامة أراضيها، وبما يحقق الخير لشعبها الشقيق، معرباً عن مطالبة المملكة بخروج القوات الأجنبية والمليشيات المسلحة من سوريا، لما تمثله من خطر على مستقبل سوريا والمنطقة بأسرها.

وفيما يخص السودان، قال نائب وزير الخارجية: إن المملكة تعرب عن قلقها البالغ حيال توقف المحادثات الرامية إلى إنهاء الصراع والوصول إلى اتفاق دائم لإطلاق النار، يمهد للعودة إلى الحوار السياسي ويجنب الأشقاء في السودان ويلات الحروب التي تقوده نحو نفق مظلم لا يستحقه الشعب السوداني الشقيق.

وأكد على دعوة المملكة للمجتمع الدولي لتكثيف الجهود في سبيل ضمان خلو منطقة الشرق الأوسط من انتشار أسلحة الدمار الشامل، مما لها أثار سلبية على استقرار المنطقة وازدهارها، مؤكداً ضرورة مواصلة العمل الحثيث للتصدي لآفة الإرهاب التي ألحقت الكثير من الأضرار بدولنا وشعوبنا، مشدداً في هذا الإطار على أهمية وقوف المجتمع الدولي أمام الدول الداعمة والراعية للإرهاب والتطرف.
