أوضح المتحدث الإعلامي لشرطة المنطقة الشرقية، أنه إشارة إلى المحتوى المرئي المتداول عن تعرض طفلة للتعنيف بالضرب من والدتها، فإنه تمت مباشرة الواقعة والوقوف على الحالة بالتنسيق مع وحدة الحماية الأسرية بوزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية، وجرى استكمال الإجراءات النظامية، وإحالة القضية للنيابة العامة.
