جراحة لحالة خلقية نادرة لطفلة حديثة الولادة في مستشفي المواساة بالدمام

استقبل مستشفى المواساة بالدمام طفلة وليدة في يومها الثاني محولة من إحدى المستشفيات الكبيرة المجاورة بحالة خطيرة وموضوعة على الأوكسجين وجهاز التنفس الصناعي وذلك بسبب ولادتها بتشوه خلقي (عدم وجود فتحات للأنف بعظم الجمجمة من الداخل) مما أدى لعدم قدرة المولودة من التنفس الطبيعي التلقائي حيث أن الأطفال حديثي الولادة يعتمدون بشكل كلي على التنفس من الأنف ولا يستطيعون التنفس من الفم في شهورهم الأولى.

ادخلت الطفلة التي تزن 2.275 كجم الى وحدة العناية بحديثي الولادة تحت إشراف استشاري الوحدة ورئيس قسم الاطفال الدكتور منذر خليل كما قامت الدكتورة ندى الشيخ إستشارية و رئيسة قسم الأنف و الأذن و الحنجرة بطلب الفحوصات اللازمة للتاكد من سلامة المولودة وعدم وجود تشوهات خلقية أخرى وبالأخص في القلب والتي عادة ما تكون مصاحبة لمثل هذه الحالات. وبعدها أجرت الدكتورة ندى جراحة عاجلة للرضيعة و هي عملية عالية المهارة والدقة أجريت بواسطة المنظار المتقدم لجراحات الأنف للأطفال حيث تم عمل فتحات خلفية للأنف في عظم الجمجمة تتصل بالبلعوم الأنفي مع تركيب دعامات مؤقته تم ازالتها بعد بضعة أسابيع والتأكد من بقاء الفتحات التنفسية.

بفضل الله و توفيقه المولودة تعافت مباشرة بعد العملية الجراحية وأصبحت تتنفس بشكل طبيعي من الأنف دون الحاجة إلى الأوكسجين و خرجت من المستشفى في اتم صحة.
