المخابرات البريطانية: روسيا تخاطر بتقسيم قواتها في صد الهجوم الأوكراني

قالت وزارة الدفاع البريطانية، اليوم السبت، في تحديثها الاستخباري، إن القوات الروسية، من خلال صد الهجوم المضاد الأوكراني في جنوب البلاد والهجوم في الشرق نفسه، تخاطر بتقسيم قواتها، وفق ما ذكرت صحف بريطانية.
وذكر التقييم المخابراتي، أن روسيا تواصل تقدمها بالقرب من كوبيانسك في شرق أوكرانيا، بينما تريد إجبار القوات الأوكرانية على تقسيم وحداتها بين الجنوب والشرق.
وقالت الوزارة: "بالنظر إلى أن روسيا حققت مكاسب متواضعة بالقرب من كوبيانسك منذ بدء الهجوم المضاد الأوكراني في يونيو، فمن المرجح جدًا أن تسعى للاستفادة" من خلال الاستمرار في تزويد هذه المنطقة من الجبهة بالدعم العسكري .
ومع ذلك، فإن هذا قد يجبر روسيا نفسها على تقسيم قواتها من أجل منع اختراق أوكرانيا حول أوريكيف في الجنوب.
وقد وصلت القوات الأوكرانية إلى خط الدفاع الروسي الرئيسي الأول على الرغم من الجهود التي بذلتها القوات الروسية، المكونة أساسًا من عناصر جيش الأسلحة المشتركة 58 والقوات المحمولة جواً الروسية، لوقفها.
وفي الوقت نفسه، قال البيت الأبيض يوم الجمعة إن القوات الأوكرانية حققت في الأيام الأخيرة "تقدما ملحوظا" ضد القوات الروسية في هجومها الجنوبي.
وقال جون كيربي المتحدث باسم الأمن القومي بالبيت الأبيض للصحفيين "أي مراقب موضوعي لهذا الهجوم المضاد لا يمكنه إنكار... أنهم أحرزوا تقدما الآن" ووصف انتقادات مسؤولين مجهولين للجهود الأوكرانية بأنها "غير مفيدة".
