وصل بحفظ الله ورعايته خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، إلى نيوم، اليوم، قادماً من جدة.
وقد وصل في معية خادم الحرمين الشريفين ـ أيده الله ـ، صاحب السمو الأمير خالد بن فهد بن خالد، وصاحب السمو الأمير خالد بن سعد بن فهد، وصاحب السمو الأمير فيصل بن سعود بن محمد، وصاحب السمو الملكي الأمير الدكتور حسام بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز أمير منطقة الباحة، وصاحب السمو الملكي الأمير الدكتور عبدالعزيز بن سطام بن عبدالعزيز مستشار خادم الحرمين الشريفين، وصاحب السمو الملكي الأمير تركي بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وصاحب السمو الملكي الأمير فيصل بن أحمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز.
كما وصل في معيته ـ حفظه الله ـ، معالي رئيس المراسم الملكية الأستاذ خالد بن صالح العباد، ومعالي نائب السكرتير الخاص لخادم الحرمين الشريفين مساعد رئيس الديوان الملكي للشؤون التنفيذية الأستاذ فهد بن عبدالله العسكر، ومعالي مساعد السكرتير الخاص لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الأستاذ تميم بن عبدالعزيز السالم، ومعالي رئيس الشؤون الخاصة لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الأستاذ عبدالعزيز بن إبراهيم الفيصل، ومعالي رئيس مجلس الإدارة والمدير التنفيذي للعيادات الملكية الدكتور صالح بن علي القحطاني، ومعالي رئيس الحرس الملكي الفريق أول ركن سهيل بن صقر المطيري.

شهد مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، إجراء العملية الثالثة من نوعها على مستوى القطاع الخاص بالمملكة والخليج العربي، لإستئصال أورام رأس البنكرياس والأثني عشر والقنوات المرارية "ما يعرف بعملية ويبل"، بالمنظار الكامل، علماً بأن العمليتين الأولى الثانية أجريتا أيضاً بالمستشفى خلال الشهور الماضية، ويُجرى هذا التدخل الطبي دون الحاجة للشق الجراحي التقليدي Totally Laparoscopic Whipple’s Procedure.

وأضاف د. الشهراني أن الفريق الطبي وضع خطة علاجية متكاملة، وأجرى عملية جراحية دقيقة ومتقدمة بتقنية المنظار"إجراء ويبل"، تم فيها استئصال الورم بالكامل، بعد عزله عن الأوردة والأنسجة الحيوية الملاصقة له، وكذلك استئصال أجزاء من الأمعاء والمعدة والمرارة، ثم بعد ذلك تم عمل التوصيلات والتحويلات الأساسية لأعضاء البطن بعضها ببعض وجرى كل ذلك عبر المنظار .
واستطرد الدكتور عبدالوهاب مؤكداً أن التدخل الطبي تكلل ولله الحمد بالنجاح، وتمت إفاقة المراجع بغرفة العمليات، ونقل إلى العناية المركزة، ووضع تحت المراقبة لمد "24" ساعة، قبل أن يحول إلى جناح التنويم، ويغادر المستشفى لاحقاً بحالة صحية جيدة.
