القوات البحرية تتسلَّم قيادة قوة الواجب المختلطة 152 وقيادة قوة «الحارس»

تَسلَّمت القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية، اليوم، مهام قيادة قوة الواجب المختلطة 152 من سلاح البحرية الملكي البحريني، وقيادة قوة «الحارس» من البحرية الملكية البريطانية، وذلك في حفل رسمي أقيم في مقر قاعدة الدعم البحرية الأمريكية بالأسطول الخامس في مملكة البحرين.
وأقيمت مراسم التسليم والاستلام، بحضور معالي قائد القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية الفريق الركن فهد بن عبد الله الغفيلي، ومعالي قائد القيادة المركزية للقوات البحرية الأمريكية والأسطول الخامس الأمريكي والقوات البحرية المختلطة الفريق بحري براد كوبر، وسعادة قائد سلاح البحرية الملكي البحريني اللواء ركن بحري أحمد بن محمد آل بن علي، وعدد من السفراء والملحقين والسلك الدبلوماسي في المنامة.
وانطلق حفل تسليم وتسلُّم قيادة قوة الواجب المختلطة 152، بكلمة ألقاها القائد السلف للقوة العقيد البحري محمد المير من سلاح البحرية الملكي البحريني، نوه فيها بإنجازات القوة خلال الفترة السابقة ومساهماتها في تعزيز الأمن البحري، وتأمين الملاحة البحرية في المنطقة، وحماية البنية التحتية في المياه الدولية.
بعد ذلك، أكد قائد القيادة المركزية للقوات البحرية الأمريكية والأسطول الخامس الأمريكي والقوات البحرية المختلطة الفريق بحري براد كوبر في كلمته بهذه المناسبة، أهمية الدور الذي تلعبه قوة الواجب المختلطة 152 في تأمين الملاحة البحرية، وحفظ ونشر السلام في المنطقة، مشيدًا بكفاءة واحترافية القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية وإنجازاتها في العديد من العمليات الدولية المشتركة.
وعقب ذلك، تسلَّم العقيد البحري الركن عاصم بن مرعي العمري من القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية، قيادة قوة الواجب المختلطة 152 بشكل رسمي من العقيد البحري محمد المير من سلاح البحرية الملكي البحريني.
ثم ألقى القائد الخلف للقوة العقيد البحري الركن عاصم العمري من القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية، كلمة رحب فيها باستلام قيادة قوة الواجب المختلطة 152 للمرة الثالثة، مشيرًا إلى جاهزية القوات البحرية التامة للقيام بالواجبات المناطة بها في قيادة القوة.
وتعتبر قوة الواجب المختلطة 152 التي تأسست في 2004م، إحدى خمس قوات واجب تعمل ضمن القوات البحرية المختلطة في الأسطول الخامس الأمريكي في البحرين، وهي: قوة الواجب 150 وقوة الواجب 151، وقوة الواجب 153، وقوة التدريب 154.
ويجري تناوب قيادتها بين قوات الدول المشاركة على أساس ثلاثة إلى اثني عشر شهرًا. وتعزز قوة الواجب المختلطة 152، التعاون البحري على الصعيد الإقليمي، خاصة بين دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، فيما تتمثل مهامها في تعزيز الأمن البحري في الخليج العربي، وحماية البنية التحتية في المياه الدولية، ومكافحة الأنشطة غير القانونية والتهديدات الإرهابية.
إلى ذلك، سلَّمت البحرية الملكية البريطانية، قيادة قوة «الحارس» للقوات البحرية الملكية السعودية، حيث بدأ حفل تسليم وتسلُّم قيادة القوة بكلمة القائد السلف للقوة العميد البحري بيتر لوتن من البحرية الملكية البريطانية، هنأ فيها القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية بتولي مسؤوليات قيادة القوة التابعة للتنظيم الدولي للأمن البحري (IMSC)، التي تتمثل مهامها في مراقبة خطوط الملاحة البحرية التجارية في المنطقة، وتوفير الحماية للسفن التجارية التي تحمل أعلام الدول المشاركة في القوة، وردع الدول الراعية للأنشطة التي قد تهدد أمن الملاحة البحرية.
بعد ذلك، جرت مراسم التسليم والاستلام، حيث تسلَّم العميد البحري الركن صالح بن عوض العوفي من القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية قيادة قوة «الحارس» بشكل رسمي من العميد البحري بيتر لوتن من البحرية الملكية البريطانية.
وألقى القائد الخلف للقوة العميد البحري الركن صالح العوفي من القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية، كلمة بهذه المناسبة، أوضح فيها أن المملكة العربية السعودية ممثلة بالقوات البحرية انضمت للتنظيم الدولي للأمن البحري (IMSC) الذي تأسس منتصف شهر يوليو من العام 2019م، وذلك بعد أشهر من تأسيسه.
وأكد أن تولي القوات البحرية مسؤولية قيادة القوة يأتي انطلاقًا من دورها المحوري وتعاونها الوثيق مع القوات البحرية للدول المشاركة في مراقبة خطوط الملاحة البحرية التجارية في المنطقة، وتوفير الحماية للسفن التجارية.
