"مطارات عُمان" توقع اتفاقية تعاون استراتيجي لتجهيز ودعم تشغيل مطار كربلاء الدولي بالعراق

وقّعت شركة مطارات عُمان اتفاقية شراكة استراتيجية مع شركة طيبة كربلاء المُستثمِرة لمشروع مطار كربلاء الدولي، تتعلق بالتجهيز والإعداد والتشغيل المبدئي لمطار كربلاء الدولي، أحد أبرز المشاريع الحيوية في قطاع النقل الجوي العراقي، وذلك في خطوة تعكس عمق العلاقات الأخوية والتعاون المثمر بين سلطنة عُمان وجمهورية العراق الشقيقة.
وقع الاتفاقية معالي المهندس سعيد بن حمود المعولي وزير النقل والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات ورئيس مجلس إدارة شركة مطارات عُمان فيما وقعها من الجانب الآخر الحاج حسن رشيد جواد العبايجي رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة طيبة كربلاء.
مطار كربلاء الدولي في العراق
وتأتي هذه الاتفاقية في إطار التعاون بين سلطنة عُمان وجمهورية العراق الشقيقة، وتعزيزًا لأواصر التعاون بين مؤسسات وشركات البلدين، وتجسيدًا للإيمان المشترك بأهمية العمل المشترك الذي يخدم تطلعات البلدين في تطوير قطاع الطيران المدني، والارتقاء بالبنية الأساسية للمطارات؛ بما يتماشى مع المعايير الدولية الحديثة.
وبموجب الاتفاقية، ستتواجد كفاءات فنية وإدارية وتشغيلية عُمانية في مدينة كربلاء لمدة 15 شهرًا، تتولى خلالها مهام تجهيز ودعم تشغيل المطار خلال مرحلته الأولى، إضافة إلى تدريب جميع موظفي المطار وفق المحددات العالمية، والتأكد من سير العمليات بسلاسة وفق أعلى المعايير التشغيلية.
ويُعد مطار كربلاء الدولي أحدث مطار في العراق، حيث يتميز بتجهيزاته التقنية المتقدمة وتصميمه العصري، ويقع في موقع استراتيجي بين مدينتي كربلاء والنجف. ويُخطط للمطار أن يستوعب مليوني مسافر في مرحلته الأولى، ليرتفع العدد إلى 6 ملايين في المرحلة الثانية، وصولًا إلى 20 مليون مسافر في المرحلة النهائية من المشروع.
وتتمتع شركة مطارات عُمان بخبرة واسعة في مجال إدارة وتشغيل المطارات، حيث تشرف حاليًا على تشغيل 6 مطارات في السلطنة، مما يعكس جاهزيتها العالية في تقديم الخبرات الفنية والإدارية اللازمة لإنجاح المشروع العراقي.
ويُنتظر أن يسهم هذا التعاون في تعزيز روابط الأخوة بين سلطنة عُمان وجمهورية العراق، وفتح آفاق جديدة للعمل المشترك في مجالات النقل الجوي والخدمات اللوجستية، بما يعود بالنفع على شعبي البلدين.
