نفى مصدر مسؤول الادعاءات والمزاعم الواردة في تقرير إحدى المنظمات المتعلقة بالاعتداء على مجموعات من الجنسية الإثيوبية أثناء عبورهم الحدود (السعودية - اليمنية)، وأكد ألا أساس لها من الصحة وتستند إلى مصادر غير موثوقة.

واستنكر إثارة بعض المنظمات الادعاءات الكاذبة عن المملكة وما وصلت إليه من نشر تقارير مُسيسة ومضللة والترويج لها في سياق حملات إعلامية مغرضة يتم إثارتها بشكل متكرر لأهداف وغايات مشبوهة.

وأكد أنه سبق تقديم الرعاية الطبية اللازمة لمجاميع بشرية تعرضت لإصابات نارية من قبل جماعات مسلحة لدفعها إلى دخول المملكة بالقوة الجبرية عبر الحدود ( السعودية - اليمنية).

وشدد على التزام جهات إنفاذ القانون في المملكة بمبادئ حقوق الإنسان المنصوص عليها في أنظمتها والقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان والقانون الدولي الإنساني، وتقديم الخدمات الإنسانية لمن يتم ضبطهم من مخالفي أمن الحدود، ومعاملتهم وفق أنظمة المملكة والتزاماتها بموجب المعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان.
