نجح مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، في إجراء عملية قسطرة متقدمة أنهت معاناة سبعيني مع تضيق شديد بالصمام الأورطي، صاحبه حزمة من الأعراض الحادة، التي حدت من حركته، وحالت بينه وبين ممارسة حياته بصورة طبيعية، ذكر ذلك د. عبدالله الشهري استشاري أمراض القلب والأوعية الدموية وقسطرة القلب التداخلية للكبار، رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج.

الذي قال أن المراجع جاء إلى المستشفى مشتكياً من ضيق في التنفس وآلام بالصدر وارهاق، وعدم القدرة على المشي بشكل طبيعي، وتلقى العلاجات الإسعافية، وأجريت له تصوير تلفزيوني للقلب عن طريق المريء، وأظهرت نتيجته تضيقاً شديد بالصمام الأورطي، وتم استكمال الفحوصات بالأشعة المقطعية Ct- scan للقلب والشرايين الطرفية.
