أطلق المركز الوطني للأرصاد إنذارًا أحمر على المنطقة الشرقية محذرا من طقسها.
وبين أن المنطقة تشهد هطول أمطار غزيرة مع تساقط البرد وجريان سيول وصواعق رعدية ورياح شديدة السرعة.

تمكن مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، من إعادة القدرة على الحركة، لمراجعة في العقد التاسع من العمر، كانت قد خضعت لعملية استبدال مفصل ركبة في وقت سابق، وتعرضت لحادث سقوط عرضي، أصيبت إثرها بحزمة أعراض حادة أقعدتها عن الحركة، وأجرى لها فريق طبي بقيادة د. عمر دحدولي استشاري جراحة العظام، عملية جراحية معقدة أعادت لها القدرة على الحركة.
أخبار متعلقة البنوك السعودية تنظّم محاضرة توعوية في وزارة الصحة بالتعاون مع البنك السعودي الفرنسيلدعم الابتكار الرقمي بالطيران.. إطلاق تحدي AVITHON بجوائز 450 ألف ريالوقال د. دحدولي الحاصل على الزمالتين الكندية والبريطانية، أن المراجعة جاءت إلى المستشفى وهي تشتكي من عدة أعراض أبرزها، عدم القدرة على المشي، وآلام حادة في الفخذ، وأجريت لها عقب وصولها مباشرة سلسة من الفحوصات الدقيقة، وأظهرت صور الأشعة وجود كسر في عظمة الفخذ، أعلى مفصل الركبة المستبدل، ودرس الفريق الطبي الحالة، وخلص إلى خيارين علاجيين، الأول هو تثبيت الكسر، والثاني هو إزالة المفصل الصناعي واستبدال الجزء السفلي من عظمة الفخذ بجزء معدني مع تركيب مفصل معدني آخر، وفي النهاية اختار الفريق الطبي الخيار الثاني، وذلك لارتفاع احتمالات فشل الثبيت.
وأضاف د. دحدولي أن الفريق الطبي أجرى جراحة للمراجعة تم فيها استبدال مفصل الركبة بآخر مخصص لحالات الأورام والمفاصل المعقدة، ومن ثم إزالة الجزء السفلي المكسور من عظمة الفخذ والاستعاضة عنه بقضيب معدني، واستمر التدخل الطبي قرابة الـ "3" ساعات ومضى بسلاسة، وتكللت جهود الفريق الطبي ولله الحمد بالنجاح التام، ونقلت المراجعة إلى غرفة التنويم بمؤشرات حيوية مستقرة، وتحسنت حالتها وتمكنت من المشي في اليوم التالي، واستمر تحسنها مع العناية الطبية الحثيثة والعلاج الطبيعي قبل أن تغادر المستشفى بعد عدة أيام من الجراحة.
