عاجل: النيابة العامة: السجن 13 سنة لمواطن بتهمة حيازة المخدرات بقصد الاتجار

صرح مصدر مسؤول في النيابة العامة أن نيابة المخدرات أنهت إجراءات التحقيق مع مواطن بتهمة حيازة المواد المخدرة والمؤثرات العقلية بقصد الاتجار. وكشفت إجراءات التحقيق عن قيام المتهم بحيازة المواد المخدرة والمؤثرات العقلية داخل منزله وبتفتيشه تم العثور على (25) حبة من المؤثرات العقلية، وأكثر من (40) جراماً من مادة الحشيش المخدر وقيامه بالاتجار بها في أحد مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.

وجرى إيقافه وإحالته إلى المحكمة المختصة، وتقديم الأدلة على اتهامه، وصدر بحقه حكم يقضي بإدانته بما نسب إليه، وسجنه مدة (13) سنة، وتغريمه مبلغ (50,000 ألف ريال) "خمسين ألف ريال"، ومنعه من السفر مدة مماثلة لمدة محكوميته، ومصادرة الجوال المستخدم بالجريمة. وشدد المصدر على أن النيابة العامة ماضية بحزم في مباشرة إجراءاتها الجزائية المشددة في كافة جرائم المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية، وإحالة المتهمين فيها إلى المحكمة المختصة، للمطالبة بإيقاع العقوبات الرادعة، حماية للمجتمع من هذه الآفة الخطيرة التي تهدد الأمن والمجتمع.
