أعلنت جامعة أم القرى تعليق الدراسة الحضورية اليوم الثلاثاء، وتحويلها عن بُعد، وذلك بناءً على ما ورد من المركز الوطني للأرصاد، وحرصًا على سلامة الطلبة وجميع منسوبي الجامعة.
وأشارت الجامعة إلى أن القرار يشمل جميع مقرات الجامعة وكليات المحافظات، على أن يستمر دوام الموظفين عن بُعد، وفقًا للأنظمة واللوائح المعمول بها.

وقالت الإدارة في بيانها: "بناءً على ما ورد من المركز الوطني للأرصاد وحرصًا على سلامة الجميع، فقد تقرر تعليق الدراسة في جميع مدارس العاصمة المقدسة، ومحافظتي الجموم والكامل وبحرة، على أن تكون الدراسة عن بعد عبر منصة مدرستي".
