وقّعت الشركة السعودية لإعادة التمويل العقاري، إحدى شركات صندوق الاستثمارات العامة، مع البنك الأهلي السعودي، أكبر مؤسسة مالية في المملكة، اتفاقية شراء محفظة تمويل عقاري بقيمة 3.4 مليار ريال سعودي، وذلك في واحدة من أكبر عمليات إعادة التمويل العقاري في المملكة.
ووقّع الاتفاقية من جانب البنك الأهلي السعودي الرئيس التنفيذي الأستاذ طارق السدحان، ومن جانب الشركة السعودية لإعادة التمويل العقاري الرئيس التنفيذي الأستاذ مجيد العبدالجبار.

وأضاف السدحان قائلاً إن هذه الشراكة ترسخ مكانة البنك الأهلي السعودي في السوق الثانوية للتمويل العقاري في المملكة ودوره كشريك إستراتيجي في نموذج المنح بغرض إعادة التمويل Originate-To- Distribute (OTD) التابع للشركة السعودية لإعادة التمويل العقاري، بما يسهم في تعزيز السيولة وضمان الاستقرار المالي لقطاع الإسكان، إذ تمثل الاتفاقية محطة بارزة في جهود التوريق المستدامة على المدى الطويل.
من جهته، قال الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة السعودية لإعادة التمويل العقاري الأستاذ مجيد العبدالجبار: "تعكس هذه الاتفاقية مع البنك الأهلي السعودي رؤيتنا المشتركة لتعزيز منظومة التمويل السكني في المملكة. فمن خلال توفير السيولة وترسيخ إطار متكامل للتوريق، نعمل على بناء سوق تمويل عقاري مستدام يساعد المواطنين على تحقيق تطلعاتهم في التملك".
وتأتي هذه الاتفاقية في إطار سلسلة من عمليات الاستحواذ التي نفذتها الشركة السعودية لإعادة التمويل العقاري مؤخرًا، تأكيدًا على دورها المحوري في تعزيز السيولة في السوق الثانوية للتمويل العقاري. ومن خلال هذه الاتفاقية، يعزز كل من البنك الأهلي السعودي والشركة السعودية لإعادة التمويل العقاري مكانتهما باعتبارهما ركيزتين أساسيتين في تطوير الحلول المالية المبتكرة وتحفيز النمو الاقتصادي. كما تمهد هذه الخطوة الطريق لتطوير أدوات مالية مدعومة برهون عقارية Residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS)، مما يعزز سيولة القطاع ونشاطه، ويزيد من جاذبيته أمام المستثمرين المحليين والعالميين.
