في الوقت الذي تواصل فيه المملكة بكل ثبات واقتدار اضطلاعها بدورها الريادي في تخفيف حدة التوترات العالمية، وإحلال الاستقرار الدولي، ومن ذلك الوضع المأساوي في غزة والضفة الغربية، والمشاركة الفاعلة في التحضير لقمم هامة في عاصمة القرارات (الرياض)، يأتي الاحتفال الوطني بيوم التأسيس ليؤكد عمق الجذور التاريخية للمملكة ومسيرتها الراسخة نحو المستقبل.
وأكد المستشار بالديوان الملكي الشيخ عبدالله بن مجدوع القرني أن يوم التأسيس مناسبة وطنية عظيمة تُستحضر فيها تضحيات الأجداد الذين قدموا الغالي والنفيس من أجل تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار والرخاء، مما يفرض على الجميع مسؤولية الحفاظ على هذه المكتسبات واستكمال ما تتطلبه المرحلة بتكاتف وتآزر أبناء الوطن تحت قيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين وسمو ولي عهده الأمين.
