شفاء 50 طفلاً من السرطان بمستشفى الولادة بمكة

احتفى مستشفى الولادة والأطفال بمكة المكرمة، ممثلاً بمركز أورام الأطفال، وبالتعاون مع جمعية براءة لأمراض دم وسرطان الأطفال، بشفاء 50 طفلاً من مصابي سرطان الدم، وذلك ضمن فعاليات اليوم العالمي لسرطان الأطفال تحت شعار “متحدون بتفردنا”.
وتضمن الحفل معرضاً توعوياً بمشاركة مركز أورام الدم، وقسم المختبر، وقسم الخدمة الاجتماعية، وجمعية براءة، بهدف رفع الوعي وتعزيز الدعم لمرضى سرطان الأطفال وأسرهم.

يُذكر أن مركز أورام مستشفى الولادة والأطفال بمكة هو المركز الوحيد المتخصص في سرطان دم الأطفال بين مستشفيات وزارة الصحة بالمنطقة الغربية، حيث يقدم خدمات طبية نوعية بإشراف كوادر متخصصة في مجال الأورام.
