وأكّد الدكتور خليفة السويدي أن مؤسسة حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم للعلوم الطبية والتربوية، تنطلق من اهتمام دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في دعم التعليم العالمي واستشعارها لأهمية تمكين المعلمين، وهي تتشارك مع منظمة اليونيسكو في اعتبار المعلم ركيزة أساسية في بناء مستقبل تعليمي مستدام وفعّال على مستوى العالم. وقال: «إن شراكتنا مع اليونيسكو تمثل خطوة استراتيجية نحو تحقيق هذا الهدف، حيث نحرص على تقديم المساندة للجهود القائمة في تشخيص واقع المعلمين على مستوى العالم، وتقديم الحلول المبتكرة التي تواكب التحولات السريعة وإرهاصاتها، والتي باتت تشكل تحديات حقيقية تهدد مهنة التعليم».
وأشاد كارلوس فارغاس، رئيس أمانة الفريق الدولي المعني بالمعلمين في اليونيسكو بجهود مؤسسة حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم للعلوم الطبية والتربوية في دعم التعليم، وإسهاماتها في تطوير الأداء التعليمي المتميز ورعاية الطلبة الموهوبين والمبتكرين، وأوضح أن رعاية المؤسسة مشروع التقرير الدولي للمعلمين 2023، ساعدت في تحقيق إنجاز كبير، حيث قدم التقرير بصورة واضحة لواقع المعلمين وأبرز المشكلات التي تتطلب معالجة عاجلة درءاً لتفاقمها، وأضاف قائلاً. «إن مبادرة المؤسسة برعاية مشروع التقرير الدولي للمعلمين لعام 2030 تلقى كل الترحيب والتقدير لما لها من تأثير إيجابي في تمكين الفريق الدولي لرسم خريطة طريق للحكومات والمؤسسات المعنية لأجل تعزيز البرامج الرامية إلى تحقيق أفضل الظروف لمهنة المعلم».
