كشف رئيس مجلس الوزراء الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي أن إجازة 25 يناير 2025 لن يتم ترحيلها أو تقديمها، بل ستكون في موعدها المحدد، ومن المقرر أن تكون موعد إجازة 25 يناير 2025 يوم السبت القادم، وسيتم الاحتفال بهذا اليوم بمناسبتين هما عيد الثورة وعيد الشرطة وتعد هذه الإجازة إجازة رسمية مدفوعة الأجر، تُمنح للعاملين في الوزارات والمصالح الحكومية والهيئات العامة ووحدات الإدارة المحلية، وشركات القطاع العام وقطاع الأعمال العام والقطاع الخاص.
على الرغم من أن معظم العاملين يحصلون على عطلة رسمية في إجازة عيد الشرطة 2025، إلا أن بعض الفئات مستثناة نظرًا لطبيعة عملها، وتشمل هذه الفئات:
- الطلاب الذين لديهم امتحانات، أكدت الحكومة أن الطلاب الذين تصادف امتحاناتهم يوم 25 يناير لن يحصلوا على إجازة، إذ ستستمر الامتحانات وفق الجداول الزمنية المحددة مسبقًا من قبل وزارة التربية والتعليم ووزارة التعليم العالي.
- العاملون في القطاعات الحيوية، هناك بعض الفئات الوظيفية التي لا يمكن تعطيلها نظرًا لدورها الحيوي في تقديم الخدمات للمواطنين، ومن أبرز هذه الفئات:
-القطاع الطبي والمستشفيات: يشمل الأطباء والممرضين والفنيين الصحيين الذين يواصلون تقديم الرعاية الصحية.
-أفراد الشرطة والقوات المسلحة: يظلون في حالة تأهب لتأمين المنشآت العامة وحماية المواطنين خلال الاحتفالات.
-العاملون في قطاع النقل والمواصلات العامة: لضمان عدم تعطيل حركة القطارات والمترو والمواصلات العامة.
-العاملون في المرافق العامة (الكهرباء والمياه والاتصالات): لضمان استمرار الخدمات الأساسية للمواطنين.
