جامعة سوهاج تحصل على المركز الأول مصريا وإفريقيا في تصنيف «جرين ماتريكس»

تسلم الدكتور حسان النعماني رئيس جامعة سوهاج، شهادة المركز الأول على مستوى الجامعات المصرية والإفريقية في التصنيف الدولي للجامعات المستدامة «جرين ماتريكس - GreenMetric» لعام 2024.
وأعرب رئيس جامعة سوهاج عن فخره بهذا التميز غير المسبوق، حيث حصدت الجامعة المركز الأول على مستوى الجامعات المصرية والإفريقية، مقدما الشكر لفريق العمل الذي بذل جهودًا مضنية في إعداد وترتيب الملفات المطلوبة لهذا التصنيف، لتقفز الجامعة 65 مركزا عالميا، لتأتي في المركز رقم 255 بين 1477جامعة من 95 دولة.
وهنأ الدكتور خالد عمران نائب رئيس جامعة سوهاج لشؤون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، إدارة الجامعة بهذا الإنجاز المتميز، موضحا أن الجامعة خلال الفترة الماضية وضعت خطة مكثفة لتطبيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة على جميع أنشطتها، وذلك تطبيقا لرؤية مصر 2030 للتنمية المستدامة.
وأوضح الدكتور حمدي حسانين مدير مركز التنمية المستدامة ومنسق عام ملف الجامعة للتصنيف الدولي، أن التصنيف ارتكز على 6 معايير أساسية وهي المنشآت والبنية التحتية، الطاقة والتغيرات المناخية، إدارة المياه، إدارة المخلفات، النقل المستدام، التعليم والبحث العلمي، مضيفا أن كل معيار منها يندرج تحته عدة مؤشرات بما يفوق 50 مؤشرا، تشمل حصر كل أنشطة الجامعة وموضح بها ما تم تطبيقه من الممارسات المستدامة في كل منها.
