تشغيل 4 محطات لتنقية مياه الشرب بأحياء شعلة الدمام

استكملت شركة المياه الوطنية تشغيل (4) محطات جديدة لتنقية مياه الشرب في حي الشعلة بمدينة الدمام في المنطقة الشرقية، حيث تمثل هذه المحطات الحزمة الثانية المخصصة لتنقية مياه الشرب في مدن المنطقة الشرقية ومحافظاتها، وذلك بهدف تحسين جودة المياه المقدمة للعملاء، وزيادة نطاق التغطية بالمياه المحلاة.
وأوضحت الشركة أن المحطات الأربع في حي الشعلة تضخ يوميًا أكثر من (8) آلاف متر مكعب من المياه المحلاة، باستخدام نظام التناضح العكسي.

مبينة أنها تعمل حاليًا على تقييم كفاءة التشغيل لهذه المحطات، ومتابعة تدفقات المياه المحلاة في بعض شبكات الأحياء المستهدفة (1117، 1095، 1243، 1179). وأشارت إلى أن محطات التنقية ستخدم أكثر من (60) ألف نسمة في هذه الأحياء، وأنها مستمرة في تنفيذ أعمال إنشاء المحطات المتبقية في مواقع أخرى بالمنطقة الشرقية، ليرتفع إجمالي إنتاج المشروع إلى (76) ألف متر مكعب يوميًا من المياه المحلاة، كإجمالي إنتاج مستهدف لجميع مكونات المشروع.
