وزير الخارجية والهجرة يبحث تعزيز التعاون مع نظيره الإريتري

استقبل د. بدر عبد العاطي، وزير الخارجية والهجرة، يوم السبت ١١ يناير ٢٠٢٥ في القاهرة، عثمان صالح، وزير خارجية إريتريا، في إطار تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين جمهورية مصر العربية ودولة إريتريا.
وصرح السفير تميم خلاف المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية أن د. بدر عبد العاطي أشاد بالعلاقات الوطيدة التي تجمع مصر وإريتريا، مبرزاً الزيارة التاريخية لفخامة السيد رئيس الجمهورية عبد الفتاح السيسى إلى أسمرة فى ١٠ اكتوبر ٢٠٢٤، مؤكداً على تطلعه لتعزيز أطر التعاون الثنائي القائمة واستشراف فرص جديدة للتعاون في كافة المجالات.
تناول اللقاء مناقشة سبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين البلدين في مختلف المجالات السياسية والاقتصادية والتجارية، كما تم التطرق إلى أهمية تعزيز الجهود المشتركة لدعم الأمن والاستقرار في منطقة القرن الإفريقي، فضلاً عن تعزيز التنسيق في القضايا الإقليمية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وعلى رأسها الأوضاع فى الصومال ودعم الحكومة الصومالية فى الحفاظ على وحدة وسيادة الصومال وسلامة أراضيه، كما تم تناول الأوضاع فى منطقة البحر الأحمر والتأكيد على أن أمن البحر الأحمر مرتبط بإرادة الدول المشاطئة. كما تناول الوزيران الأوضاع فى السودان وأهمية الحفاظ على وحدة السودان وسيادته.
اتفق الوزيران على مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق بين الجانبين، وتبادل التأييد في الترشيحات للمناصب الإقليمية والدولية، بالإضافة إلى العمل على تنفيذ مبادرات مشتركة لتعزيز التعاون الثنائي بما يخدم مصالح الشعبين الشقيقين.
