باشرت مجموعة القريان، شركة مساهمة مغلقة سعودية، المتخصصة في أعمال إزالة وتفكيك المنشآت الصناعية والصناعات التدويرية، في أعمال تفكيك وإزالة وحدات مصانع تابعة للشركة العربية للألياف الصناعية (ابن رشد)، إحدى الشركات التابعة لشركة سابك حيث يشمل نطاق العمل للمشروع، الذي تمتد مساحته إلى أكثر من 125 ألف متر مربع ويضم ثماني مناطق إنتاج متكاملة، تفكيك جميع وحدات الإنتاج والمرافق والمباني التابعة لها، بالإضافة إلى إخلاء الموقع بالكامل.

كما يشمل المشروع نقل المواد الناتجة عن عمليات الإزالة إلى خارج الموقع، حيث يتم معالجتها وإعادة تدويرها في مرافق المعالجة والمصانع التابعة للمجموعة. ويهدف المشروع إلى تطبيق أفضل الممارسات في الفرز والتصنيف وإعادة التدوير وفقًا لمعايير عالية الجودة. ويُسهم في تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة من خلال تقليل استهلاك الطاقة وتقليص الانبعاثات الكربونية.
الجدير بالذكر أن مجموعة القريان تمتلك وتدير حوالي عشرين مرفقًا لمعالجة الحديد والمعادن والبلاستيك في مختلف مناطق المملكة، بالإضافة إلى المصانع المتطورة لإعادة تدوير وإنتاج هذه المواد، مما يعزز قدرتها على تقديم حلول شاملة ومتكاملة للمشاريع .وعن حصول المجموعة على هذا المشروع، صرح الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة القريان، المهندس عبدالعزيز يحي المؤيد قائلاً: "تفخر مجموعة القريان بثقة المسؤولين في الشركة العربية للألياف الصناعية (ابن رشد) بإسناد هذا المشروع إلينا. ونحن في المجموعة نحرص دائمًا على استثمار خبرتنا الممتدة وتطوير قدراتنا الهندسية واللوجستية لضمان تطبيق أعلى معايير السلامة والجودة في مجال تفكيك وإزالة المنشآت الصناعية. وقد قامت المجموعة بتفكيك وإزالة منشآت صناعية ضخمة، مثل مصنع سافكو للمغذيات الزراعية في مدينة الخبر بالمنطقة الشرقية، إلى جانب العديد من محطات تحلية المياه ومحطات الكهرباء في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
