مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر ينهي معاناة طفلة مع ورم ضاغط على الأعصاب بالحوض

أجرى مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، بنجاح عملية استئصال ورم نشأ في حوض طفلة عمرها "12" عاماً، وشكل ضغطاً على الأعصاب، وسبب لها أعراضاً حادة، منها عدم القدرة على ممارسة حياتها بصورة طبيعية نتيجة قصور الحركة، وقاد الفريق الطبي د.سلطان السالمي استشاري جراحة المخ والأعصاب والعمود الفقري، ود. نايف بن دعجم استشاري جراحة وأورام العمود الفقري.

وقال د. السالمي أن الطفلة راجعت المستشفى وهي تشتكي من حزمة أعراض، أبرزها آلام حادة ممتدة من الظهر إلى منطقة قريبة من الورم، وتغيرات في الإحساس، مع الشعور بوخز وضعف العضلات، مضيفاً أن الفريق الطبي أجرى لها فور وصولها سلسة من الفحوصات، بدأت بالفحص البدني ومن ثم الأشعة السينية X-ry والأشعة المقطعية Ct-scan، وأشعة Mri مع الصبغة، وأظهرت النتائج وجود ورم على الأعصاب في الفقرة العجزية الأولى، وتم دراسة ملف الحالة والوصول إلى خطة علاجية، وأجريت بمقتضاها عملية جراحية استخدم فيها جهاز الملاحة العصبية، الذي يوفر دقة فائقة وتوجيهاً مناسباً للجراح وللأدوات الجراحية للوصول إلى المناطق الحساسة، وتم في العملية استئصال الورم بدقة عالية وبشكل آمن، وتثبيت الحوض بالفقرات القطنية، ومضى التدخل الجراحي الذي استمر لنحو "3" ساعات، بطريقة سلسة، وتكللت ولله الحمد بالنجاح التام، ونقلت الطفلة بعدها للتنويم حيث أمضت "4" أيام محاطة بالعناية الطبية الحثيثة، وتحسنت حالتها باضطراد وغادرت بصحة جيدة.
