توّفي 4 أشخاص وأدخل 6 آخرون العناية المركزة من عائلة واحدة في حفر الباطن بسبب دفاية.
وظهر مقطع فيديو متداول لأحد أقارب العائلة المنكوبة يتحدّث فيه بأنه تلقّى اتصال من أحد الجيران يفيد باندلاع حريق في منزل زوج ابنتي.

وألمح درويش إلى أن المصابين الستة متواجدين في 3 مستشفيات بواقع حالتين في كل مستشفى، مؤكداً بأن المتوفين 3 بنات وطفل صغير، حيث أن إحدى المتوفيات كانت على وشك الزواج، حيث كان موعد زفافها بعد شهر رمضان القادم.
