كتب جوني منير في" الجمهورية": على اللبنانيّين التعاطي بتأنٍّ وبكثير من الوعي مع المشاريع الجاري درسها للمنطقة، وعدم البقاء في دائرة التناحر الطائفي والمذهبي، والتي مزّقت دولتهم وكيانهم وجعلت منها دولة فاشلة، بعدما كانت رائدة دول المنطقة وأنظمتها في ستينات القرن الماضي. فخلال الأشهر الماضية، سهّل لبنان على إسرائيل قيامها بحربها المدمّرة.
والمنطق يدعو لإعادة تحصين الداخل اللبناني، مرّة بانتخاب رئيس للجمهورية في التاسع من كانون الثاني، ومرّة أخرى بدعم الجيش اللبناني كونه الوحيدالقادر على نَيل غطاء الشرعية الدولية ودعمها، بالإضافة إلى أنّه القادر على إقفال كل الثغرات الحدودية مع سوريا، والتي قد تشكّل ممرّات ملائمة لكل اشكال المخاطر الأمنية المستقبلية.
وثمة آمال مرتفعة باحتمال إنتاج رئيس جديد للبنان طال انتظاره في الجلسة المحدّدة في 9 كانون الثاني، وتوحي بها «عجقة » الزوار. فبالإضافة إلى الوزيرَين الفرنسيَّين واللذين سيحملان رسالة من ماكرون إلى الرئيس نبيه بري،هنالك زيارة الموفد الأميركي آموس هوكشتاين، والتي ستتزامن على الأرجح معزيارة لوفد سعودي رفيع سيلتقي أيضاً الرئيس بري، لتأمين نجاح جلسةالإنتخابات الرئاسية. وهوكشتاين الذي سيبحث في ملف الخروقات في الجنوب سيتطرّق أيضاً إلى الملف الرئاسي. هذا مع العلم أنّ تنسيقاً أميركياً سعودياً حصل في العمق حول الملف الرئاسي، وهو ما ستترجمه زيارة الوفد السعودي. مع الإشارة هنا إلى التوقيت الذي اختير بعناية لدعوة قائد الجيش العمادجوزف عون إلى السعودية، والتي توّجها بلقاء مع وزير الدفاع وتمّ الإعلان عنهرسمياً. وستعيد السعودية فتح باب مساعداتها للجيش اللبناني في وقت هوبأمسّ الحاجة فيه لذلك بسبب مهمّاته جنوباً وعند الحدود مع سوريا بالإضافةإلى تحدّيات الداخل. قد يبدو المشهد شديد التعقيد والمستقبل محفوف بالمخاطر، لكنّ مواجهة التحدّيات تحتاج إلى بعض التبصّر والخروج من الأنانيات والحسابات الضيّقة.

وجرى خلال الاستقبال بحث مستجدات الأوضاع في لبنان والمنطقة والجهود المبذولة تجاهها، إلى جانب استعراض أوجه العلاقات الثنائية بين المملكة ولبنان، وسُبل دعمها وتعزيزها.
