افتتاح مؤتمر "العلوم التطبيقية لتحديات المستقبل والتنمية المستدامة" بعلوم بنها

افتتح الدكتور السيد فوده نائب رئيس جامعة بنها لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة ، والدكتورة جيهان عبد الهادي نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون الدراسات العليا والبحوث ،مساء أمس ، فعاليات المؤتمر العلمي الرابع بعنوان " العلوم التطبيقية لتحديات المستقبل والتنمية المستدامة" ، والذي نظمته كلية العلوم بحضور الدكتور محمد هيكل عميد الكلية ، ووكلاء الكلية ، وعدد من أعضاء هيئة التدريس، وذلك برعاية الدكتور ناصر الجيزاوي رئيس الجامعة.
وقال الدكتور محمد هيكل، إن المؤتمر استنهدف تطوير البحث العلمي ودعم الابتكار و تسليط الضوء علي الدور الذي يمكن ان تلعبه الجامعات في تعزيز الابتكار والتكنولوجيا الخضراء من خلال الاستفادة من الأبحاث العلمية التطبيقية لتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة ، وتبادل المعرفة بين الأكاديميين الباحثين والمهنيين من مختلف التخصصات حول كيفية مساهمة الجامعات في التنمية المستدامة ، وتعزيز التعاون وبناء شراكات مع القطاع الخاص والجهات البحثية لدعم مبادرات التنمية المستدامة ، وتحفيز الحوار البناء حول كيفية مواجهة التحديات المعاصرة وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة من خلال النقاشات العلمية المتبادلة.
وأشار عميد الكلية ، إلى أن محاور المؤتمر تضمنت الطاقة المتجددة والخضراء ، وتدوير المخلفات ودورها في حماية البيئة ، والموارد المائية وطرق معالجتها ، وتطبيقات المواد النانومترية ، وأثر التغيرات المناخية علي الزراعة والأمن الغذائي.
من جانبها أشارت الدكتورة نهاد البرقي وكيل الكلية لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة إلي أن المؤتمر ناقش 57 بحث مشارك بعدد 7 جلسات علمية في كافة محاور المؤتمر ، لافته أنه تم تنظيم معرض لأنشطة طلاب البكالوريوس بالكلية بمشاركة 17 بحث.

وأعرب البروفيسور وهيب الخاجة عن اعتزاز الجامعة بمشاركة الأشقاء السعوديين فرحتهم بهذه المناسبة الوطنية العزيزة، مشيدًا بالعلاقات الأخوية المتينة التي تربط مملكة البحرين والمملكة العربية السعودية، والتي تمتد بجذورها العميقة في التاريخ. كما أعرب عن فخره بخريجي وطلاب الجامعة من المملكة العربية السعودية، الذين يمثلون نموذجًا مشرفًا للعلم والتميز، ويعتبرون سفراء للجامعة بفضل جهودهم الأكاديمية ومساهماتهم العلمية في مختلف المجالات.

وهنأ البروفيسور حاتم المصري طلاب الجامعة من المملكة العربية السعودية، معربًا عن تمنياته بأن يديم الله على المملكة العربية السعودية الأفراح، وأن يحفظها آمنة مستقرة مزدهرة، تحت القيادة الحكيمة لخادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده الأمين. وأضاف أن الجامعة ستواصل جهودها في توفير بيئة أكاديمية تسهم في بناء قادة المستقبل، وتعزز قيم الوحدة والتعاون بين الشعبين البحريني والسعودي.
