المملكة عملت على تفعيل مبادئ التضامن الإنساني وتعزيز التنمية البشرية والاجتماعية في أنحاء العالم

يحتفل العالم باليوم الدولي للتضامن الإنساني في 20 ديسمبر من كل عام استذكارًا لمعاني وقيم الوحدة الإنسانية والعدالة الاجتماعية وضرورة الحفاظ عليها ولمواجهة التحديات العالمية مثل الفقر والصراعات والأزمات الإنسانية، والعمل معًا من أجل غد أفضل. وتأتي المملكة العربية السعودية ممثلة بمركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية في طليعة الدول التي امتدت أياديها البيضاء لمساندة المتضررين والمحتاجين والوقوف معهم، وعملت على تعزيز التنمية البشرية والاجتماعية ودعم العمل الإنساني؛ إيمانًا منها بضرورة تفعيل مبادئ التضامن الإنساني والتكافل الاجتماعي لجميع البشر.

وبهذا الاتجاه نفذ مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة العديد من المشروعات الحيوية لخدمة المحتاجين في العالم بلغت 3.135 مشروعًا في 106 دول بقيمة إجمالية تتجاوز 7 مليارات و144 مليون دولار أمريكي، فضلًا عن البرامج النوعية مثل مشروع "مسام" لنزع الألغام من الأراضي اليمنية، وبرنامج الأطراف الصناعية، ومشروع إعادة تأهيل الأطفال المجندين، تلك المشاريع التي جسدت أسمى معاني التضامن الإنساني الصادق مع الفئات المتضررة. ولم ينس المركز المشاريع ذات البعد التأهيلي والتدريبي وتنمية المجتمعات البشرية أملًا في تحويل الأفراد من مجرد متلقين للمساعدات إلى أيادي بناء وتنمية لإعالة أنفسهم والاستغناء عن الاحتياج في المستقبل، كما قدم المركز إسهامات مهمة لمساعدة أهالي قطاع غزة ولبنان ومتضرري الزلزال في سوريا وتركيا ولتخفيف حدة الأزمة الإنسانية في أوكرانيا والسودان، مما دفع مجلس الوطني للعلاقات الأمريكية العربية لمنح مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة جائزة الإنجاز الإنساني العالمي لدوره المميز في إغاثة الملهوفين ونجدة المتضررين ومساندة المحتاجين واللاجئين أينما كانوا. وهذه الجهود الإنسانية الممتدة تحظى بدعم غير محدود من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود وصاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء - حفظهما الله - حيث جسدا أسمى معاني العطاء والتضامن والتعاضد مع الشعوب والبلدان المتضررة والمحتاجة حول العالم، تأكيدًا للدور الإنساني العالمي والرفيع للمملكة العربية السعودية.
