مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر ينهي معاناة فتى مع تشوه خلقي نادر بالركبة ويُعيد قدرته على المشي

بفضل من الله تمكن مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، من إنهاء معاناة فتى يبلغ من العمر 13 عاماً مع تشوه خلقي نادر في الركبة، تسبب في شعوره بآلام حادة أثناء الحركة بدءاً من عمر 7 سنوات، الأمر الذي أعاقه عن المشي وممارسة حياته الطبيعية والرياضة. ذكر ذلك الدكتور عبدالرحمن الرفاعي استشاري طب وجراحة عظام الأطفال والتشوهات والحوادث وجراحات مفصل الورك المتقدمة، رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج.

وبينت نتائج الفحوصات وجود تشوه خلقي نادر تسبب في حدوث فراغ بالغضروف المغطي لعظمة الركبة اليسرى من الجزء الفخذي، بالإضافه لتجمع السوائل في الركبة، وعدم قدرته على فرد وثني الركبة بزاوية تزيد عن (100) درجة. وعقب دراسة كافة نتائج الفحوصات، قرر الفريق الطبي المعالج إخضاع الفتى لعملية جراحية لإصلاح هذا التشوه.
موضحاً أن العملية استغرقت ساعة ونصف تحت التخدير الكامل، وتم فيها استخدام تقنيات المنظار المتقدم، وقد اتضح أثناء العمل الجراحي وجود خلل غضروفي كبير، حيث تم رفع قياسات الغضروف والعمق المناسب لمكان الخلل، وعقب الانتهاء من تنظيف مكان العيب الخلقي، قام الفريق الطبي بعمل تهوية للعظم في نفس المكان بهدف ضمان حدوث التروية الدموية الطبيعية، تبع ذلك زراعة غضرف صناعي متطور من مادة غضروفية عالية الجودة (Myoregion)، ومن ثم تثبيته ، نقل بعدها الفتى إلى جناح التنويم.
