عن حل الدولتين...ترامب يراوغ بإجابته بين التأييد والتفكير

أكد الرئيس الأميركي المنتخب دونالد ترمب أنه يؤيد أي حلّ يمكن أن يحقق السلام بين الفلسطينيين والإسرائيليين، ومن ضمنها حل الدولتين.

وأضاف أنه لا يجوز أن يستمر الوضع على هذا النحو الذي ينتهي بنا إلى مأساة كل 5 سنوات، هناك بدائل أخرى.
وحول سماح واشنطن لإسرائيل بضم الضفة الغربية، قال الرئيس ترمب: «إنني أريد السلام الدائم، ولست أقول إن هذا السيناريو محتمل للغاية، ولكنني أريد السلام الدائم؛ السلام الذي لا نشهد فيه (أحداث 7 أكتوبر) مرة أخرى بعد 3 سنوات... وهناك كثير من الطرق لتحقيق ذلك.. يمكنك تحقيق ذلك عبر حل الدولتين، ولكن هناك كثير من الطرق لتحقيق ذلك، أود أن أرى الجميع سعداء، وأن يعيش الجميع حياتهم، وأن يتوقف موت الناس"
وبسؤاله عمّا إذا كان رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي، بنيامين نتنياهو، قد أعطاه ضمانات بشأن موعد إنهاء الحرب في قطاع غزة، قال ترمب: "لا أريد أن أقول ذلك، ولكنني أعتقد أنه يشعر بالثقة بي، وأعتقد أنه يعرف أنني أريد لهذه الأزمة أن تنتهي. أريد لكل شيء أن ينتهي. أريد ألا يُقتل الناس على أي من الجانبين".
