كاريتاس الأردن تطلق حملة الشتاء السنويّة في مدينة السلط

أطلقت كاريتاس الأردن، حملة الشتاء السنوية في مدينة السلط، تحت رعاية محافظ البلقاء، السيد سلمان نجادا الأكرم، وبحضور السفير البابوي لدى الأردن، المطران جوفاني بيترو دال توزو، والمدير العام لكاريتاس الأردن، السيد وائل سليمان.
ونظم الحدث جمعية المحبة والرحمة، ممثلة بمديرها السيد ميشيل فشحو، وكاريتاس الأردن وذلك في دير اللاتين بالسلط.
وفي البداية، رحب كاهن رعية دير اللاتين في السلط، الأب طارق حجازين بالحضور، مشيدًا بدور الكنيسة في العمل الإنساني منذ نشأتها على أهمية التعايش والإخاء والمحبة بين مختلف فئات المجتمع. وأشار الأب حجازين إلى أن هذه القيم كانت الأساس في رسالة الكنيسة والمنهج الذي تتبعه في خدمة الإنسانية، حيث كانت وستظل الكنيسة دائماً شريكاً فاعلاً في العمل الاجتماعي والخيري.
وأضاف بأن كاريتاس الأردن تجسد هذه القيم بشكل عملي، من خلال رسالتها المستمرة في الوقوف إلى جانب المحتاجين، وتقديم الدعم اللازم للأفراد والعائلات الأكثر تأثراً في ظل الظروف الاقتصادية الصعبة، خاصة في موسم الشتاء القاسي.
وشهد الحدث اليوم حضور العديد من الشخصيات البارزة ووجهاء مدينة السلط والذين أشاروا بأهمية التكافل الاجتماعي والدعم المستمر للأسر المحتاجة في مختلف مناطق المملكة، لا سيما في فصل الشتاء الذي يزيد من معاناة العائلات ذات الدخل المحدود.
حيث كان بالحضور رئيس بلدية السلط المهندس محمد الحياري، وعطوفة مدير مخابرات البلقاء سعد الخصاونة ورئيس مجلس المحافظة إبراهيم العواملة ومفتي البلقاء محمد البلاونه والأب نيكتاريوس حداد كاهن رعية الروم الأرثوذكس والأب بشاره حداد كاهن رعية الروم الكاثوليك.
