إضافة خدمة شحن جديدة بميناء الملك عبدالعزيز

أعلنت الهيئة العامة للموانئ “موانئ” عن إضافة خدمة الشحن الجديدة “Pakistan Gulf Express ” التابعة لشركة ONE إلى ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام، بما يعزز من مكانة الميناء، ويزيد من تنافسيته أمام المصدرين والمستوردين، والوكلاء الملاحيين.
ويؤكد ذلك تنامي دور ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام في دعم سلسلة الخدمات اللوجستية العالمية، بما يملكه من خصائص وقدرات تشغيلية ولوجستية رائدة، عبر 43 رصيفًا مكتملة الخدمات والتجهيزات، وبطاقة استيعابية تصل إلى 105 ملايين طن من البضائع والحاويات، بالإضافة إلى عدد من المحطات المتخصصة والتجهيزات المتطورة، ومعدات حديثة تمكنه من مناوَلة مختلف أنواع البضائع، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات الاستراتيجية الوطنية للنقل والخدمات اللوجستية بترسيخ مكانة المملكة كمركز لوجستي عالمي، ومحور ربط القارات الثلاث.
وتعمل خدمة الشحن الجديدة على ربط ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام بموانئ: جبل علي بالإمارات، وحمد في قطر ، وكراتشي بباكستان، بطاقة استيعابية تبلغ 2500 حاوية قياسية.
و يُذكر أن ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام استقبل خلال العام الحالي 2024م 21 رافعة ساحلية وجسرية، كما تم تزويده بـ 80 شاحنة كهربائية، بما يسهم في تطوير وتحديث الميناء ليصبح مركزًا لوجستيًا مرنًا، ومستدامًا، ويعزز قدراته في استقبال السفن المتطورة، والضخمة، بكامل الإنتاجية، وبكفاءة عالية.
