بلدة ألمانية تجلب صقور أمريكية لمكافحة الغربان

قررت السلطات المختصة في بلدة كلينجهوزن الألمانية جلب صقور باز هاريس الأمريكية الصحراوية إلى بيئتها للمساعدة في السيطرة على مستعمرات الغربان المحلية التي تتسبب الفضلات التي تخلفها والضوضاء التي تحدثها في إزعاج السكان.

وبهدف تخويف الغربان المحلية يقوم صائد ومربي الصقور هربرت بوجر، بجلب طيوره إلى هذه البلدة الواقعة على نهر إيدر ثلاث مرات أسبوعيا منذ بداية العام.

وبحسب بيانات السلطات، فإن البلدة حاليا موطن لمستعمرة من حوالي 200 عش للغربان.

وبحسب بيانات هيئة شؤون البيئة في ولاية شليزفيج-هولشتاين الألمانية لعام 2021، يعيش في الولاية حوالي 28 ألف زوج من الغربان.

وتجذبهم مناطق المراعي في السهول الفيضية والمستنقعات التي تضمن لهم إمدادات غذائية ثابتة.

القانون يحمي الغربان

وبعد زيادة سريعة في ثمانينيات وتسعينيات القرن الماضي، تباطأ النمو في أعداد الغربان في الولاية بشكل طفيف، وفقا لتقرير عام .2021 لكن الموائل تتغير.

وفي هذه الأيام تتكاثر 75% من الغربان في المدن، مقابل 25% مقارنة بعام 1954، وفقا لاتحاد الحفاظ على الطبيعة والتنوع البيولوجي التابع للولاية.

ويتم تدريب صقور "باز هاريس" منذ سن مبكرة على مطاردة الغربان دون قتلهم. ويقول بوجر إن هذا التدريب يتضمن لعب لعبة الريش بالأجنحة السوداء، لجعل الطيور الجارحة تتكيف مع الغربان.

وتعد الغربان من الأنواع المحمية في ألمانيا، ويحظر القانون قتلها أو جرحها، وبالتالي لا يمكن سوى إخافتها لإبقائها بعيدا في ظل ظروف خاصة، ولابد من الحصول على إذن للقيام بذلك.

وإلى جانب الطيور الجارحة التي يطلقها بوجر، تُشغِّل بلدة كلينجهوزن أيضا نظاما خاصا يصدر أصواتا تحاكي الطيور الجارحة، وهذه الإجراءات سارية منذ ثلاث سنوات.

ولجأت البلدة إلى الطيور الجارحة بعد أن وجدت أن بنادق الصوت والأدوات الأخرى فشلت في تحقيق النجاح المنشود، وبدلا من ذلك تسببت فقط في خلق مشكلة ضوضاء إضافية للسكان.
