ألغت عدة شركات طيران عالمية رحلاتها من جزيرة بالي السياحية الإندونيسية وإليها، اليوم، الأربعاء ، بعد تجدد ثوران بركان أطلق سحبًا من الرماد لارتفاع يصل إلى عشرة كيلومترات أجبر آلاف الأشخاص على إخلاء مناطقهم. ولقي تسعة أشخاص على الأقل حتفهم جراء الثوران الأول لبركان جبل ليوتوبي لاكي-لاكي، الواقع في إقليم شرق نوسا تينجارا على بعد نحو 800 كيلومتر من بالي، في الثالث من نوفمبر.

ومنذ ذلك الحين ثار البركان مرارًا، بما في ذلك عدة مرات أمس. يذكر أن جزيرة بالي هي أهم وجهة سياحية في إندونيسيا.
