رياح عاتية وأمطار غزيرة.. عاصفة شديدة تضرب غرب اليابان

أغرقت العاصفة المدارية "لان" مناطق في غرب اليابان، الثلاثاء، بأمطار غزيرة تساوي ما يهطل طيلة شهر، متسببة بارتفاع منسوب الأنهر مع توجيه إنذارات من انزلاقات للتربة وإصدار أوامر بإجلاء نحو 180 ألف شخص.
وبعد خفضها من إعصار إلى عاصفة، وصلت "لان" هادرة من المحيط الهادئ قرابة الخامسة صباحا (20,00 ت غ) مصحوبة برياح عاتية عصفت بأوساكا وكوبي، المركزين التجاريين، في طريقها نحو الشمال.
وأصدرت مدينة توتوري، المطلة على بحر اليابان، تحذيرا على أعلى مستوى لإجلاء نحو 182 ألف شخص في وقت متأخر من بعد الظهر، في حين حذرت وكالة الأرصاد الجوية من هطول أمطار غزيرة "غير مسبوقة" في المنطقة.
وقال، ساتوشي سوجيموتو، من وكالة الأرصاد الجوية للصحفيين "حياة الناس في خطر. يحتاج الناس إلى ضمان سلامتهم على الفور"، وحث سكان المنطقة على البحث عن مأوى في المناطق المرتفعة بسبب مخاطر الفيضانات.
وأعيد التيار الكهربائي إلى معظم أنحاء سبع مناطق متضررة مع بقاء نحو تسعة ألاف منزل في الظلام، مساء الثلاثاء، وفق الشركة.
وجرفت الأمطار جزءا من جسر للمشاة في كيوتو وأدى الحطام المتطاير إلى توقف قطارات الركاب المحلية. وكانت السلطات علقت رحلات القطارات السريعة ومئات الرحلات الجوية لا سيما تلك المتوجهة الى أوساكا أو التي تغادرها.
وأفادت وكالة أنباء كيودو أن حوالى 650 شخصا اضطروا للبقاء ليلا في مطار كانساي الواقع على جزيرة اصطناعية في خليج أوساكا، بعد أن قطعت العاصفة الطرق وخطوط السكك الحديد.
وفي نهاية الثلاثاء كانت العاصفة تتجه نحو بحر اليابان على أن تضرب الساحل وتواصل مسيرتها نحو فلاديفوستوك في أقصى الشرق الروسي.
