الإمارات تستضيف ورشة حول استراتيجيات التقييم المتبادل لمجموعة العمل المالي

استضافت اللجنة الوطنية لمواجهة غسل الأموال ومكافحة تمويل الإرهاب وتمويل التنظيمات غير المشروعة في دولة الإمارات ورشة عمل تعاونية مع نظرائها في مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، لمناقشة عملية القائمة الرمادية لمجموعة العمل المالي "FATF".
وشارك في الورشة، التي استمرت 3 أيام، ممثلون عن الأمانة العامة لمجلس التعاون الدول الخليج العربية ودولة الإمارات ونظرائهم من المملكة العربية السعودية وسلطنة عمان ومملكة البحرين ودولة الكويت ودولة قطر، حيث ركزت الورشة على نموذج دولة الإمارات وتجربتها في تعزيز التدابير الوطنية لمكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب.
وتضمّنت ورشة العمل عروضاً قدّمتها الجهات المختصة من الدولة، بما في ذلك اللجنة الوطنية لمواجهة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب وتمويل التنظيمات غير المشروعة، وجهات إنفاذ القانون، والجهات الرقابية، ووحدة المعلومات المالية، وغيرها من الجهات المعنية.
وقدمت كل جهة المرئيات حول النتائج المباشرة الإحدى عشرة لمجموعة العمل المالي، التي تضع معايير عالمية لفعالية جهود مكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، شاركت دولة الإمارات تجاربها الوطنية في مجال العقوبات المالية المستهدفة، وتمويل الانتشار، والأمن السيبراني لتسليط الضوء على نهجها الشامل لمكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب.
وخرجت دولة الإمارات من القائمة الرمادية لمجموعة العمل المالي في فبراير(شباط) 2024 بعد استكمالها السريع خطة عملها في أقل من عامين، فشارك المسؤولون في الدولة تجربتهم وأفضل ممارساتهم مع الحضور.
وشجّع حامد سيف الزعابي، الأمين العام ونائب رئيس اللجنة الوطنية، المشاركين على اعتبار عملية الدخول في القائمة الرمادية فرصة لتعزيز منظومة مكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب، قائلاً " الفعالية هي مفتاح التغلب على الشبكات الإجرامية. عندما يسأل الناس عن رحلة دولة الإمارات، أكثر ما أفتخر به هو النتائج: تحقيقات ذات جودة أعلى، والمزيد من عمليات تسليم المجرمين، وإنفاذ أفضل، والمزيد من الأصول المضبوطة، والأهم نشوء جيل جديد من المحترفين الإماراتيين الملتزمين. وقد أرسى عملنا طوال هذه العملية الأساس لنظام مستدام طويل الأمد لمكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب، حيث نواصل البناء على هذا النجاح من خلال أحدث تقييم وطني للمخاطر وإطلاق استراتيجية وطنية جديدة وجريئة للفترة 2024-2027".
