وزير الزراعة يغادر إلى عمان للمشاركة في اجتماعات المنتدى الإقليمي لتحول أنظمة الغذاء

غادر علاء فاروق، وزير الزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي، للمشاركة في فعاليات المنتدى الإقليمي لتسريع تحول أنظمة الغذاء في المنطقة العربية، بالعاصمة الأردنية عمان، والذي تعقده اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا بالأمم المتحدة (الاسكوا).
جلسات المنتدىوينظم المنتدى تحت رعاية وزارة الزراعة الأردنية، بالتعاون (الإسكوا)، والمنظمة العربية للتنمية الزراعية، والبنك الدولي، ومنظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة (الفاو)، وبرنامج الأغذية العالمي، ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية.
ويشارك في المنتدى عدد من وزراء الزراعة بالمنطقة العربية، فضلا عن ممثلو عدد من المنظمات الدولية والإقليمية المعنية بملفات الزراعة والأمن الغذائي، حيث يهدف المنتدى إلى تحقيق تحول نوعي في منظومة الأمن الغذائي بالمنطقة، وتنسيق الجهود بين الجهات المحلية والدولية.
لقاءات بعدد من المسؤولينوتعقد جلسات هذا المنتدى على مدار يومين، لمناقشة عددا من الموضوعات والملفات المتعلقة بالنظم الغذائية، ومنظور المنظمات الدولية والإقليمية لها، وحالة النظم الغذائية في المنطقة العربية، فضلا عن سياسات تسريع تحول النظم الغذائية، وسبل تمويل هذا التحول، وغيرها من الموضوعات المتعلقة بالأمن الغذائي في المنطقة.
ومن المقرر أن يعقد علاء فاروق وزير الزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي، عددا من اللقاءات الثنائية مع نظراءه بالمنطقة، ولقاء مسئولي بعض المنظمات الإقليمية والدولية، لمناقشة سبل التعاون المشترك، ودعم جهود التنمية الزراعية وتحقيق الأمن الغذائي بالمنطقة.
برامج الإدارة المستدامةوفي سياق منفصل وجه وزير الزراعة، بتنفيذ برامج الإدارة المستدامة للآفات لرفع جودة المحاصيل وحماية البيئة، ورفع وعي العاملين بالمجال الزراعي والمتعاملين مع الآفات الزراعية بالمستجدات الفنية والعلمية للمساهمة في ترشيد استخدام المبيدات وتطبيق سياسات واستراتيجيات المكافحة المتكاملة للآفات، وتعليمات الدكتور عادل عبد العظيم رئيس مركز البحوث الزراعية بتطوير التقنيات الزراعية الحديثة في مكافحة الآفات الحشرية وتشجيع المزارعين على تبنيها للحافظ على مواردنا الطبيعية وضمان إنتاج غذاء آمن وصحي، نفذ مركز البحوث الزراعية ممثلًا في معهد بحوث وقاية النباتات ورشة العمل "الفرمونات ودورها في المكافحة الآمنة للآفات" بحضور لفيف من قيادات الزراعة المصرية.
وصرح الدكتور أحمد عبد المجيد، مدير المعهد بأن انعقاد هذه الورشة يأتي في وقت نواجه فيه تحديات غير مسبوقة في مجال الزراعة والأمن الغذائي، نتيجة المستجدات المتلاحقة التي تتراءى بين حين وآخر، علاوة على الآفات الغازية والعابرة للحدود، والتغيرات المناخية والتي تؤثر على ديناميكية تعداد وظهور آفات جديدة، كلها عوامل تضع ضغوطًا هائلة على قطاع الزراعة بصفة عامة ووقاية النباتات بصفة خاصة نظرا لمسئولياته في التطوير المستمر لإستراتيجيات مكافحة الآفات لتتناسب مع هذه التحديات. لذا أصبح من الضروري أكثر من أي وقت مضى أن نتبنى أساليب زراعية مبتكرة ومستدامة.
المكافحة المتكاملة للآفاتو أشار إلى أن الفرمونات أداة فعالة في المكافحة المتكاملة للآفات تمكننا من مراقبة أعداد الآفات بدقة والتدخل في الوقت المناسب، وهذا النهج لا يحمي المحاصيل فحسب، بل يحافظ أيضًا على التوازن البيئي ويحمي التنوع الحيوي الضروري لاستدامة النظم الزراعية، كما ينتج عنه خفض متبقيات المبيدات في المنتجات الزراعية مما يؤدي إلى إنتاج غذاء أكثر أمانًا وصحة، ويعزز الثقة في منتجاتنا الزراعية محليًا وعالميًا، ويفتح أسواقًا جديدة للتصدير.
وقد افتتح الورشة الدكتور محمد عبد المجيد رئيس لجنة المبيدات الزراعية نيابةً عن الدكتور عادل عبد العظيم مؤكدًا على أهمية استخدام الفرمونات في إطار المكافحة المتكاملة للآفات كأحد الحلول الفعالة التي تساهم في تقليل الاعتماد على المبيدات الكيميائية. وبالتالي المحافظة على البيئة وصحة الإنسان. حيث تتميز بالانتقائية العالية في استهداف الآفات المحددة مما يساعد في التحكم في أعداد الآفات بطرق طبيعية وآمنة وعدم ترك أي آثار ضارة على المحاصيل أو التربة، وتقليل تكاليف المكافحة على المدى الطويل، وهذا يتماشى مع استراتيجية المركز في تعزيز برامج الزراعة المستدامة وتحقيق الأمن الغذائي. ودعا المشاركين إلى تبادل الأفكار والخبرات، واستكشاف سبل توسع تطبيق هذه التقنية دعما للبحث العلمي والتطوير.
من جهتها أفادت الدكتورة نها عبد الجليل، وكيل المعهد لشئون البحوث، بأنه تم استعراض أكثر من 30 ورقة علمية أوضحت الدراسات والتجارب العلمية والعملية، علاوة على المحاضرات العامة حول كيفية استخدام الفيرمونات في مكافحة الآفات وتحقيق توازن صحي في النظام البيئي الزراعي. كما تم عمل مداخلات لخبراء متخصصين في هذا المجال من دولتي كندا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عبر منصة زووم لتبادل المعرفة والخبرات، بحضور باحثو المعاهد والمراكز البحثية وأساتذة الجامعات المصرية.
